Very slow loading
There are random times the browser is loading too long. Upon checking the ram usage, Firefox got around 800-1000mb.

Is this with any website? Are there players on the troubled pages? Is this after being online for a time?
Mostly with sites with so much content to load like images and videos. The browser used to be fine even when a couple of those automatic video ads are playing.
This is not a cure, but should let the web page load without crashing.
Flash block {web link} Never be annoyed by a Flash animation again! Blocks Flash so it won't get in your way, but if you want to see it, just click on it
Many extensions, like e.g. the AdBlock Plus add-on, cause a high memory use, with as a result net increase in page loading time.
If you want to, you could use this add-on :

Try to disable multi-process windows in Firefox to see if that has effect.
You can disable multi-process windows in Firefox by setting these prefs to false on the about:config page.
- browser.tabs.remote.autostart = false
- browser.tabs.remote.autostart.2 = false
You can open the about:config page: via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I'll be careful" to continue.
Alright, thank you. Will try the flash block first.
The flash block somehow works! I will give that disable multi-process windows a try as well.
