Two finger swipe not working on macbook mavericks why?
Hi.....am trying out Firefox as a browser. The two finger trackpad swipe that works in Safari does not work in Firefox. I am running Firefox version, 50.1.0 and my system is OS 10.9.5....I am pretty computer savvy but cannot figure this one out and thought I would ask for help from mozilla...thanks in advance... Angie
I played around with this for a while, no luck. Then I found an add on that works but not a smooth operation....maybe I can adjust it a bit in preferences. It is Scrolling GesturesDiese Antwort im Kontext lesen 👍 0

Thanks...I was able to hit shift button then two fingers on track pad then click on the back / forth arrow.....easier to just go up to the browser arrow to go back and forth I think... but thanks for the suggestion....
Well I disabled that pinchy and can still do the above so that must have been another Add on I have that allowed me to do that... very confused...
The Pinchy add-on modifies some browser.gesture prefs that you can find on the about:config page to avoid doing this yourself manually. Once the prefs are set then the extension is no longer needed. If you would create a new profile (refresh) or would otherwise clear the preferences then you will lose these changes and have to restore them with the extension or manually on the about:config page.
You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I'll be careful" to continue.
