how to disable lexity from blanking screens?

When I access the bandconditions.com main page it updates the screen every ten minutes or so. But there is a thing called "lexity" which blanks the screen after what it thinks is some number of minutes of non-use. Actually the screen is used but only to read what it says, not with any input from me. Not only does this malware have this unwanted effect but it bloats the 2kbytes transmission with an additional 4kbytes of very much unwanted javascript.

I realize I probably prevent the (Yahoo owned) server from sending this malware but I should at least be able to spot that it is unwanted javascript and throw it away thus not blanking the screen and wasting my time waiting for a screen refresh when I do need it.

So it there an addon that specifically targets lexity (and preferably other nuisanceware)?
