Firefox Continuous Crashes Windows 7 x64 Machiens

more options

Firefox is continuously crashing on several (50+ machines) all Windows 7 x64 machines. It does not even launch. All we get is the "We're sorry". We thought may be it was because they were on version 41.0.1 but after upgrading to 48.0.2, it still did not work. It just continues to crash on launch. When launched in safe mode "firefox.exe -safe-mode", it crashes immediately as well.

Please help.

The three crash reports mention Firefox 39.0.

These seem to be part of a pattern of crashes related to the latest Norton signature/pattern file update with older versions of Firefox. If you can't update to either Firefox 48.0.2 or Firefox 45.3.0esr, try rolling back that last signature/pattern file update.
