Is it possible to re-sort the order in which Thunderbird displays accounts?
Thunderbird displays accounts in the order in which they were created. Can the order be changed?

The add on will do that also. Quote from the add on page. This extension also allows you to re-order accounts in the folder pane.

Go to add ons and search for Manually Sort Folders.
I use the excellent Manually Sort Folders. I'm talking about the order of email accounts themselves. My wife and I have four email accounts between ourselves, and I want to change the order in which the accounts are displayed.

And what prevents you from doing that after installing the add-on?

Thank you, Airmail and christ1. I don't know how I missed that option--did it install itself automatically? I'd swear it wasn't there when I looked yesterday. Whatever. Maybe I just needed a whomp upside the head.
