I used Firefox for over 10 years and was a big fan. I used it on my gaming desktop PC and older laptop. But the last couple of years the minimum but good functions, fast Firefox became slower, more functions but much less easy, efficient to use, HUGE memory load and I mean HUGE compared to any other browser, so many problems with flash, forwarding controls with internet related websites. It gotten so extreme slow compared to the old days. Compare it with Skype, it was godlike 10 years ago now it is pretty much dead. My laptop is a bit older and needs rather a lot of resources to use and load websites. It is not the laptop to blame (enough CPU power and mem) but just an extreme lack of optimization. (which is a common appearance with a lot of development of apps and games, OS's etc). There is now a days enough power in PC's so why optimize? This mindset is killing. (but worth another topic :p)

Anyhow will be looking to another alternative and which Firefox the best, hopefully they will find their way back and I will be waiting for them at the gate ^^

Yes you can use a lot of fine tuning to make Firefox a lil bit better, but it seems you have to repeat the process over and over and I am just done with that after so long. It is not my job but Firefox should take responsibility. Still I hope someone here can give me Enlightenment advice to maybe change my mind or let me see the light to not leave Firefox ^^ (hence this topic)

Cheers :)

Thank you for helping me but I think you just proved my point.

I am done trying to fix something that should work in the first place ^^ (I got an IT background so that is not the problem)

Thank you again, but I will be moving now for sure to another browser.

Cheers
