double send message in send folder

Problem in Thunderbird: If I unselect "save a copy of send message" there is one message saved? If I select "save a copy of send message" there is two saved message?? Anyone have a solution or have the same problem?

If you use a gmail or hotmail (with all the attendant names it has had) account then you will get two email in n IMAP account. That is because both these providers ignore the mail sendards and add all mail going out through their SMTP servers to your sent folder.

If you use another mail provider you will get only one mail in your sent folder.
