On a Macbook Pro, Firefox Loads two copies of itself after a while, and after doing so it cannot be closed or even forced to quit. Requires a hard reboot by holding down the power button. Other browsers work fine. Why are two copies of Firefox being loaded? Latest version of OS. This has occurred for maybe 4-6 months now.
