A random update/patch tried to download itself on my computer. I clicked cancel because I did not recognize nor authorized and download of update/patch. Can you please tell me the following:

1) Where can I find a log or record of successful and failed downloads through Firefox on my computer?

2) Where can I find a log or record updates and patches through Firefox on my computer?

3) Where can I find a log or record of patches or updates that I did not authorize on my computer?

4) How can I prevent any downloads or update/patches on my computer?
