How can I select the 'direction' of sync?

In the new sync I don't see a way to define 'sync direction'.

Example scenario: I have a new Firefox with standard setting and I want to replace everything with what I have on server. I don't see any option to do this. I remeber doing it with old sync.

There is not a feature to do this at the moment. Currently it will only merge.

What is the link to the bug you created? I'd like to vote for it.

I think this is absolutely needed, otherwise Firefox Sync is completely useless. For two times I had all my bookmarks messed up, making me lose hours of work because of this merge behavior.

Xmarks does not merge, it allows the user to choose the sync direction.
