I am so tired of being only wasting time in normal websites, just like i do everyday, and in a random moment the browser loses all kind of connection, and keep charging every website that i have previously open.

I've got my extensions in date, and with "ask me for activation" option checked in every single one that i use.

At first, i though that it will be a problem with adobe flash, but i disable it, and the connection problem still happen a lot of times. I'm so tired of it; this problem start one or two weeks ago and i can't find what is wrong.

I'm using Firefox 41.0.1, the last version. So i want help, if someone solve this problem, i appreciate the answer.

Thanks, and sorry if i have grammar mistakes, i speak spanish, but i know that i can find more and better answers in the english community.

Call your ISP and have them test your service. Unplug the modem power for a slow 10 count to re-boot it.

Are you getting any kind of message? Have you seen a pattern?

I forgot to mention, when Firefox doesn't work, i have normal conection with any other browser, and i can use my phone normaly in every app.

If i kill the "Firefox process", and re open it, it works again until, like i said before, randomly lost connection again.

In some of that process's kill, i got the message: "plugin container stops working". I think it may be that, but it doesn't appear in all the Firefox's crashes, so i don't know...

That would have been helpful to know.

Say what?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?

While still in Safe Mode,

Some of your crash reports weren’t sent to the Mozilla Servers.

In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>. Note: If any reports do not have BP in front of the numbers/letters, click it and select Submit.

The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.

Using your mouse, mark the most resent 7 - 10 crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box below and paste them in.

Hey thanks for your help.

First i test some days after doing all that, and the problem still happen. I got one day without it, and i though that it was solved but yesterday and today i lose connection again.

About the crashes report, i got no one, because i don't get the "crash box" everytime i lose connection, it just stop working, and every tab keeps loading until i kill firefox's process.

Thanks for your help again, it seems that i have to use Google Chrome now, after 9 years using Mozilla... it's a shame.

What kind of protection programs are you using?

Type about:preferences#advanced<Enter> in the address bar.

Under Advanced, Select Network. Look for Configure How Firefox Connects and press the Settings button. If you are using a proxy, make sure those settings are correct. If there is no proxy, first use No Proxy. If there is a problem, then try System Proxy.

Some problems occurs when your Internet security program was set to trust the previous version of Firefox, but no longer recognizes your updated version as trusted. Now how to fix the problem: To allow Firefox to connect to the Internet again;

  • Make sure your Internet security software is up-to-date (i.e. you are running the latest version).
  • Remove Firefox from your program's list of trusted or recognized programs. For detailed instructions, see

Configure firewalls so that Firefox can access the Internet. {web link}

To be honest i'm using just Windows Firewall, and the Firefox box is checked (allowed) in advanced settings.

I'm not using any other programs than my NOD32 antivirus, and Adblock Plus extension in Mozilla which never gave me any trouble.

I had the proxy configuration in "no proxy", i change it to "system proxy" to see if there is a change.

Thanks
