I am executing tests in a windows 7 environment using Fitnesse v20150114 and firefox v40. Java, Selenium v2.37and Python v2.7 are also being used.

Automated Tests are executed via fitnesse i.e. GUI automatic tests. Firefox is used to open product GUIs and they are verified using Selenium/Python.

The tests are triggered on a daily basis so its difficult to see exactly what is happening when the crash report is displayed. The tests execute for approximately 3 hours. During this time over 90 Crash report dialog windows are displayed.

Here are the latest 10 report ids:

Some of your crash reports weren’t sent to the Mozilla Servers.

In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>. Note: If any reports do not have BP in front of the numbers/letters, click it and select Submit.

Using your mouse, mark the most resent 7 - 10 crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box below and paste them in.

The crash report flagged these programs;

igd10umd32.dll = Intel(R) Graphics Technology

I followed your advice about upgrading my intel graphics card driver but FF is still crashing. Last 3 reports are:

I've called the big guys to help you. Good luck.

In your automation are you closing the connection to storage?

more options

Can you be more specific about "Connection to storage"?

With FireFox 35 things are working as we expect.

No changes have been made to the automation scripts but FireFox ( versions > 35 ) Are crashing on startup when being started via Selenium.

It also works with Internet Explorer.

It was a hunch since the last couple of processes in the crash report refer to the storage. Signature: mozilla::storage::Connection::AsyncClose(mozIStorageCompletionCallback*) But this is something in Firefox and may not have to do with it. my apologies that was bad support on my part. Automation can be tricky because its not native to Firefox.
