Why my website is blury in firefox but chrome loads it with no problem?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

That's so strange, almost like a filter effect.

If you check the previews of the images in the Page Info dialog, are they clear there? You can call that up using any of these:

  • right-click and choose View Page Info > Media
  • (menu bar) Tools menu > Page Info > Media
  • click the padlock or globe icon to the left of the site address > More Information > Media

When you click an image in the list on the top, a preview should appear below.
