Any difference between "clear download" and "clear list?"
I clicked on the down arrow which is the icon for downloads. I right-clicked on one of the downloaded file and I saw an option "clear list." Another time, I clicked on "Show all downloads" then on top of the screen it displayed one tab citing "clear downloads." I placed my cursor on the two words and it displayed "clears completed, cancelled and failed downloads." I am confused and don't know if there is a difference between clear list and clear downloads. I tried both and it appeared that if I had a downloaded document/file in a folder, it won't be deleted. But if I only have that document in the download folder, then it will get erased. Please explain the two terms "clear downloads" and "clear list." Any difference? What is the actual action? Thanks.

Neither command should delete any files that have been successfully downloaded. The only difference I am aware of is that "Clear List" only removes completed/cancelled/failed downloads from being listed in the popup window. They will still be listed in the Downloads window that appears when you click on "Show All Downloads." When you click on "Clear Downloads," however, all completed/cancelled/failed downloads will be removed from both lists.

Thank you.
