Just recently the info popups in Hulu stopped working ,have tried different settings in adblock ,but it may or may not work. I have not changed any settings and it won't work in safe mode either.

Is the site with video problems Vine? Some XP users have been reporting problems on that site, but so far, I haven't seen Windows 7 users having those issues. To make sure your Firefox isn't disabling important capabilities, please double-check that you don't have backwards compatibility selected. Right-click your Firefox shortcut > Properties > Compatibility. For best results, clear all selections on this tab if there are any. Could you also check whether Firefox has a non-standard connection setting? That's one way to tamper with seemingly valid websites. You can do that here: "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced > Network mini-tab > "Settings" button The default "Use system proxy settings" should piggyback on your Windows/IE "LAN" settings. But you can try "No proxy" to see whether that makes any difference.

Seems after fooling around that HTTPS Everywhere was causing problem since 37.0.1 update. I have also found ADBLOCK is causing problem with HULU since the 36.0.= updates. I have submitted problem to ADBLOCK Firefox forum to see if anyone there knows about this.

I don't have a Hulu account. Is there a page that demonstrates this problem where you don't need a login?

Right, I knew that, but I wondered whether Hulu has any pages where you can view the problem without logging in. No?

Remove History For One Site Open the History Manager <Control><Shift> H. In the search bar, enter the name of the site. Right click on one of the listings and select Forget About This Site. This should remove all information, including any passwords / settings.

Could you post a link to a sample page and describe where the pop-ups normally appear? Assume I don't know anything about Hulu. Thanks.

Did not work. Some pages still freeze in loading and popups for info don't work.

Okay, I see, if you hover over some thumbnails, after a brief delay, there is an overlay with detailed information (text, image). Example screen shot attached.

Based on a quick look, there is an event handler on the entire document body which monitors mouse movement and checks the current target (element below the mouse) to see whether a "hoverbox" should be displayed.

One script file involved in generating the box is:

http://static.huluim.com/huluguru/i18n/en-us/application-1685a53a6bc76296280e488084ceb849.js

Can you load that file?

If not, can you think of any reason it might be blocked?

If yes, could you check for errors in Firefox's Browser Console. here's how:

Open the Browser Console using Ctrl+Shift+j or the Developer menu. At the top, click the Clear button.

Next, switch over to your hulu tab and reload the page. Switch back to the console and look for errors. These usually stand out based on an X icon in the left or a colored background. Anything sound related??

If not, click Clear in the console again, and on your hulu tab, try hovering the mouse over a show that should trigger the overlay. Then check the console for any new messages. Anything sound related?

Go to http://pastebin.mozilla.org/

Load the file into a text or word program. Click once in the window, then press <Control> A, then <Control> C to highlight everything and copy it. At the pastebin, create a new message. Then Paste into it. Then press the button that saves your message.

After, you will be given a link to that message. Copy it, and paste it below.

Sorry, I meant if you click the link, will Firefox display the script content (jumble of computer code) or not load it?

Every time I try to copy it ,firefox is not responding or do I have to wait ?

Hi tfinniii, what are you trying to copy/paste? I'm not sure it's really necessary.

Somebody else said to use http://pastebin.mozilla.org/ ,when it downloads the gobbledygook then what is supposed to happen

Looking at the script was just to confirm that your Firefox is not blocked from looking at the script. So far so good. I don't know why it isn't actually running in the page and generating the overlay.

Could you take a look at the Browser Console for error messages as described in my earlier post: https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1053834#answer-709368
