I think some things can be traded between computer systems but I am not sure.
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-set-up-firefox-sync Sync your bookmarks, history, passwords, add-ons and open tabs with another copy of Firefox. This article will walk you through setting up Firefox Sync.

You can also look at this extension:

Can someone give a Yes or No to the question? The purchase will hang on that.
You are asking about two different computer systems. Only someone that has those systems can give you the answer.
This is just about exporting the bookmarks on one computer and importing the HTML backup or restoring the JSON backup on the other computer. That shouldn't be a problem is you only want to transfer the bookmarks.
If you want to transfer more personal data then you can see in these articles what files you would have to copy between the two profile folders.

You can use this button to go to the currently used Firefox profile folder:
- Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Show Folder (Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder)

If you are saying there is a separate forum for the Mac can you give me the URL
As I posted above, there shouldn't be a problem to transfer bookmarks from a windows computer to a Mac. Just create a backup like I posted above and copy the file to an USB stick and import the file on the other (Mac) computer.
