I've tried to download this file some time ago and got message about blocking like on image (quick translation is "blocked, probably contains a virus or a spy program"). After that every launch of Firefox i get the same message. Cleaning cookes does not help. Also i can not upload image here. Or can? At the moment of typing this question upload animation plays infinitely

Ok, thanks everyone for asking. I closed all the tabs and still got message and i don't have such file as sessionstore.js in my browser's profile directory, only backups of it - sessionstore.bak and folder sessionstore-backups. But now i just delete that objects (yes, i get another one) from download history and messages dissaper. So i am confused - i think, if it (any downloading file) was blocked, then browser must delete them.

You can check the Downloads folder in the Bookmarks/History Manager (Library) for unfinished downloads. Also check that you aren't opening a web page that automatically start a download.

I believe that message is generated by the Safe Browsing filter, which is a service based on reputation data from Google. Currently, the only workaround for this is to temporarily turn off Safe Browsing, do the download, then turn it back on again.

Our languages do not match, so this might not be useful, but this setting is here:

"3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options > Security > "Block reported attack sites"

I have attached a screen shot in case it's helpful.

After unchecking this checkbox i can download files from that site, but i still get the same messages about blocking at the browser launch. Who knows how can i do not get them?

When you start up, are you restoring the windows and tabs from your previous session? Is it possible one of those is a download push page that re-requests the file every time you reload it?

You can check for problems with the sessionstore.js file in the Firefox profile folder that store session data.

Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost and you will have to recreate them (make a note or bookmark them if possible).

I have the same trouble, every time I try downloading a .rar file, once the download is complete I get the error message that the download was blocked and the file was deleted. this just started occurring after I got the latest update from Firefox. Every time there's a new update something goes wrong. How do I get Firefox from deleting my downloaded files? This is very annoying and stupid and very irritating.

Hi londonpaul, this is based on site reputation data provided by Google's Safe Browsing project, which Firefox uses when you enable blocking of attack sites. Please read this thread all the way through for more information and workarounds.
