HI wrikent3500, I understand that when you updated Firefox for Android that there were no bookmarks listed. Please disconnect the Sync account and reconnect at accounts.firefox.com.

Do you have more than 5k bookmarks? Some errors might be revealed if you take a look at any logs or errors in:

  • How do I turn on sync logs:
  1. Open about:config and turn on: services.sync.log.appender.file.logOnSuccess and services.sync.log.logger.engine.bookmarks
  2. Restart Firefox and look at: about:sync-log
  3. Logs and error messages will be located here

Please also use pastebin.mozilla.org for sharring any errors that relate to this issue.

Thank you.

On the Firefox Sync listed in your Android Accounts, is there a warning that Auto-Sync Data needs to be turned on in order for Firefox Sync to sync?

more options

Auto Sync is turned on and working,so it doesn't seem to be that

There are two reasons why, one bookmarks could have hit the limit, or there was a corruption in the places.sqlite file.

To correct the corruption:

  1. Unconnecting the devices,
  2. making a back up of the profiles Back up and restore information in Firefox profiles ,
  3. deleting the cloud,
  4. and Places Maintenance,
  5. and syncing the devices again.

did part one on desktop...actually deleted profile....and made new one....using old log in info on desktop....hopefully it works automatically on mobile side....crosses fingers

Worked...deleted old profile....after a couple of tries....logged in with sync again....everything works...
