used firefox refresh & my bookmarks were deleted
i used the ff refresh feature. now i have lost ALL of my saved bookmarks. have searched on how to retrieve them, but to no avail.

Hi, yes I understood that, but near the bottom of the linked article, you will see that your old profile should now be on your Desktop named Old Firefox Data. You should be able to restore your bookmarks from there.

Hi, the Refresh Firefox article here should help. It might also be worth looking in Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks > Import and Backup > Restore.

The Refresh Firefox CAUSED the problem. Not certain how my bookmarks all disappeared. Perhaps they are there & are hidden? Do you know anyway of checking something else?

I see the desk top file, but I cannot open the bookmarks. Could you possibly explain the steps? Thanks.
You can import a JSON backup from the bookmarkbackups folder in the profile in the "Old Firefox Data" in the Bookmarks Manager (Library) in the current profile.
