Hello there, Sorry for my english, so be good with me!

I really love Firefox, but the "slow" startup is buging me. Compare to Chrome, Firefox take a long time to open. I've try the sourceforge FirefoxPreloader, but don't really work. I've try to clear my cache, clear my download, etc, start from a good SSD, but firefox take a littlebit longer to start.

By the past, the Firefox Preloader software works, but now and I don't know why Firefox PL don't keep in memory, it between 4-7 seconds to open, compare to Chrome 1-2 seconds.

Put Firefox in RAM don't do nothing, the "startup" time is the same.

Thanks alot!

Firefox just takes longer to load than Google Chrome. And at 4-7 seconds, there's not really a reason to complain. Google Chrome is designed for fast startup, but I get the impression that Firefox is designed more for privacy and protection. There's a lot going on behind the scenes in both browsers, so it's close to impossible to say why Firefox has slower startup times.

Make sure that you security software isn't causing the delay by scanning all the files. Note that your security software may not recognize the Firefox 34 beta version.

It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.

Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full, unrestricted, access to install for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.
