hello, could you go to the firefox menu ≡ > help ? > troubleshooting information, copy the contents of that page and paste them here into a reply on the forum? this might give us a clue what is going on...

Did you check Updates of firefox ? it seems that the browser is not up to dated ? For that goto : open menu > click on help(at footer of menu,symbol of quetsion) click on About Firefox .

also check that your flash player is not blocked , if that so , allow them for the session .

Can you attach a screenshot of the Network tab in the Web Console (Firefox/Tools > Web Developer) that shows this error?

  • Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot
  • Make sure that you do not exceed the maximum size of 1 MB

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

can you try to replicate this behaviour when you launch firefox in safe mode once? if not, maybe an addon is interfering here...

What are the connection settings?

I see a disabled FiddlerRoot extension in your troubleshooting information.

You can check the connection settings.

If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then try to select "No Proxy" if "Use the system proxy settings" or one of the others do not work properly.

sorry,but nothing helps... and I can replicate this behaviour on other computers (with windows 7)

You can check in "Windows Control Panel > Programs" for recently installed programs to see if anything from Conduit or any other suspicious software like Search Protect shows up.

  • Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features > Uninstall or change a program
  • Click the Installed column to sort by this heading

Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer. Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. All these programs have free versions.

Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

You can also do a check for a rootkit infection with TDSSKiller.

Unfortunately the recommendation didn't help (I have scanned with all programs). I can reproduce the behaviour by writing a small As3 program. (I load images and sometimes abort and then reload them). The issue with uploading occurs only in Firefox or an exception sometimes. (In case if you have debug flash player). There are no loading issues in other browsers. Code test program: public class testLoading extends Sprite { private var imgArray:Array = new Array("imgs/1.jpg","imgs/2.jpg","imgs/3.jpg","imgs/4.jpg","imgs/5.jpg","imgs/6.jpg","imgs/7.jpg", "imgs/8.jpg","imgs/8.jpg","imgs/10.jpg","imgs/11.jpg","imgs/12.jpg","imgs/13.jpg","imgs/14.jpg"); private var loadedArray:Array = new Array(); private var counter:int = 0; private var loader:Loader; private var abortTimer:Timer = new Timer(10, 7);

               public function testLoading()

{ loadImage(); }

private function loadImage():void{ abortTimer.addEventListener(TimerEvent.TIMER_COMPLETE, onTimerComplete); abortTimer.start();

loader = new Loader(); loader.contentLoaderInfo.addEventListener(Event.COMPLETE, loaded); loader.load(new URLRequest(imgArray[counter]));

}

protected function onTimerComplete(event:TimerEvent):void { loader.unloadAndStop(); loader.load(new URLRequest(imgArray[counter])); }

protected function loaded(event:Event):void { loadedArray.push(event.target.content);

if(counter == imgArray.length-1){ abortTimer.stop(); abortTimer.removeEventListener(TimerEvent.TIMER_COMPLETE, onTimerComplete); for(var i:uint = 0; i < loadedArray.length; i++){ loadedArray[i].x = 0 + i * 100; addChild(loadedArray[i]); }

}

else{ counter++; loadImage(); }

} }

Do you have any ideas? How can we a workaround this?

This is very important issue for us and we need your help. This bug ligament flash and firefox. When can we expect issue to be fixed?

more options

I have the same issue and it is and will continue to negatively affect my business until Shockwave Flash issue is resolved within firefox 32.0.3 I have had my software running since 2008 with Flash and Firefox with no problems. Internet Explorer and Chrome work fine. This is a Firefox issue and there are other posts other than this post begging to get this resolved and I am now one of them because this issue is negatively affecting my business and I will loose customers. My customers using Firefox and my customers bidders will not be able to Login to bid and will not be able to login to the admin unless they switch to Internet Explorer or Google Chrome. This of course is not a good thing for Firefox. "
