When downloading the download shows a where it tried to file the download then a "FAILED" message occurs immediately after the file location is given. This happens on ALL downloads. This has started since the last upgrade. How do I print the downloads?

Today I upgraded to v157 and since then can't download files properly. I thought it wasn't doing anything, but on checking my Downloads folder found that it was saving files in there but with random file names and adding .part to the end. My settings haven't changed, "always ask" is checked, but it doesn't ask me where to save, just puts it in Downloads. This has never happened before. I tried changing the file download location and it downloaded to the specified folder but still without asking). I can remove the .part and the file will open, but I don't know how to stop it doing this. I never had this problem before upgrading to 157. Can someone tell me how to fix this or is it a glitch in v157? Many thanks

up until yesterday I had no issues downloaded data from https://heasarc.gsfc.nasa.gov/xamin/ now nothing happens at all

I cannot download anything from any website when browsing on Firefox. My decision is therefore whether to download an older version of Firefox or use Safari just for downloading files, which means creating new links on Safari for all emails and other websites that I download from. This problem is since the update to Firefox 157.0 which has been several days now so seems to be permanent. Will this bug be fixed?

After my browser automatically updated to 157.0, when attempting to download files on MacOS 27 (Golden Gate) the download window does not populate but a .part file appears in the default download location.

Just upgraded to Mac OS 27.0.1. I'm running DuckDuckGo as my Search Engine. Since the upgrade, I can't download files/PDFs from websites, as before. Any thoughts? Thanks!

I'm running Firefox 157.0 on MacOS Tahoe 26.6.2. The same lack of result occurs in all websites. I restarted the computer (several times), reinstalled Firefox, tested in troubleshoot mode, checked download settings, deleted history, blah, blah, blah. Nothing has worked, except to skip Save Image As... and switch to drag-and-drop.

Why would this suddenly happen after decades and thousands of successful uses of Save Image As...?

What other options do I have to restore Save Image As...?

I restarted my computer tonight and when I came back to Firefox, I found myself unable to right-click "Save As" images. I click "Save As" and then the window for me to select a file path / rename the file etc. just doesn't pop up at all.

I also notice that on a site with a "Save PNG" button that should also bring up this window, it also now does nothing.

I Refreshed Firefox through the "More troubleshooting options" and strangely this enabled me to save ONE image with a "Save As" right-click/button, but then trying a second time went back to no window popping up. I refreshed twice like this and both times only the first attempt would work before all others would be unresponsive.

Since the latest update (157.0). I am no longer able to save images, I tried all the options in the community forums and still no help. I tried changing the download folder and I'm not able to select "choose". I click and click and nothing happens. When I right click on an image or video and click save image/video as, nothing happens. No directory box pops up. No download happens. Nothing. I removed all extensions and still nothing. Is this just a new update bug or is something wrong with my browser?

This BS problem just started happening in the past week. When I try & DL any pic of any file size or resolution takes several mins to actually DL, & more often than not, it won't ever finish DL'ing, & when I force FF to close, my cell will say that I cleared over a Gig of data from the RAM.🧐😳🤯😤🙄😒 I tried DL'ing the same exact pics on M$ Bing, & they DL instantaneously!🙄😒 WTF is the problem? & clearing all the cache, even cookies does nothing to change this, nor does closing out the app, & relaunching them, nor does rebooting my device.

I'm using an Android cellphone, Motorola Moto Power G 2025, Android version: 16, FF version: 156.0.1

When I try to download anything in my Mozilla Firefox Browser, it will not download and just says "Failed Download". I even tried to Retry Download and that does not work. My browser is up to date to the most current version. How can I fix this?

 I am facing a problem with download and save in mozilla Firefox on my Android mobile.

When I try to download any file (PDF, image, resume) the download starts but it show "download failure" and the file is not getting saved in my phone stories. I have good internet and and enough storage space.

I have tried cleaning Firefox cache and data, but the issue is still the same. please help me to fix this download and save problem
