Is the feature supposed to behave this way? I find this rather tedious. Am I missing something here?

Current behavior:

My installation does not seem to automatically execute spam filtering for unified folders or saved searches. As soon as I manually select one of the included folders within - e.g. an individual mail acccount's inbox - the algorithm triggers and everything works as expected, but only for the one folder I clicked. This leaves me with having to click through all my mail accounts manually to make use of the adaptive junk mail controls function.

Expected behavior:

Selecting a unified folder triggers junk mail controls for all the included folders and moves messages to the respective junk folders automatically.

had to reinstall my windows 10 program and moved to windows 11. tried to reinstall my thunderbird program but after entering name, email address (halcar@sbcglobal.net), email password, and selecting pop3, i click "done" and it takes me to a yahoo page with no instructions for a next step. how do i get my thunderbird program back? or where to go next. Thank you for any help. (thunderbird stll working on my cellphone thank goodness)

The month at a glance format was great. This new format(s) Feels like you fixed something that was not broken. I liked the old format. How can I get back to it?

bold textI recently had my computer get stuck in the "automatic repair" loop making it impossible to boot up. I restored a several months old back up onto a different hard drive. I can boot on the new hard drive, but Thunderbird is missing several months of e-mails. I have tried importing from the old hard disk, but IT DOES NOT WORK. Alll it does is create a new "Local Folders" with nothing in it. I have tried exporting the old profile to a zip file, but it is 14 GB, more than Thunderbird can handle. How can I import the old e-mails into the working version of Thunderbird on the new hard drive. Please, do not say "use the import function" as i have already found it does not work.

I tutor a number of students in math which necessitates using Greek letters. Easy enough in WordPerfect etc but I can find no usable info on how to do it in Thunderbird.

Email messages which contains items other than plain text used to cause a button to be displayed that told me there were items other than plain text in the message and asked if I wanted to display them. Suddenly, that option no longer appears on individual messages. I don't know of anything I did to disable that function.

For the past few days when I open Thunderbird I get a message "https://caldav.one.com is requesting your username and password." (see attachment). I've never signed up for Caldav so I don't have a username or password. If I hit "Cancel" it proceeds as normal. If I enter my email address and log-in password it also proceeds as normal. In either case I have to go through the same process every time I open Thunderbird.

How to connect email account!? I have been tring for days to set up email account incoming server settins accept but outgoing page despite green ticks will not let me finish, I am 80 and do not understand why I am being blocked when allsettings have green ticks??
