tell me how to add outlook.com and icloud.com email accounts to thunderbird when i try the default method of adding an account, it tels me the username and password are incorrect , when their not! what do i do?

I used to download my emails from my IP mailbox and read them later. I did this weeks ago but can't find them now. Is there a special way to access them or did I need to do something different to save them before closing TB? Several different files (directories) have not been disturbed but the main email in-box download does not have the previous download of a couple hundred emails.

Had to create a NEW MS Account and am trying to add the associated Outlook mail account. Never had a problem before. Settings are: See attachment. These are the settings given me by Copilot. Am using a newly microsoft-created app password. Been here hours trying to get this done. Have removed and added the account at least 3 times. Have cleared saved passwords again and again. Get the error at the top of the attachment again and again. ANYONE can help me?

It seems like forever that I have been waiting for access to Thundermail, which I originally thought was going to be opened more broadly in January.

I have signed up for the waiting list (I think multiple times) but have not received any updates on progress. Ever.

My own email accounts are in flux, having mostly moved off of Gmail (after Google discontinued pop3 support) and Outlook (after Windows updates trashed my computer and corrupted my mail files) and tried mailbox.org, zoho, and protonmail without being completely happy with any of them. So I have been using Thunderbird but anxiously awaiting Thundermail which I was hoping would give me a stable cloud platform reachable by all of my devices.

I am happy to be an early adopter and paid user and deal with the growing pains. Is there any idea when people will be allowed to sign up?

We manage an email-account in Gmail with 3 persons. We consider to convert to Thunderbird in order to utilize various Folders. Right now all incoming email is either stored with a label or deleted. If one person stores an incoming email, e.g. a quote, in a folder, will this be a local folder ? Is the email still accessible by one of the other persons on a different computer ?

I cannot print any emails without the first page showing all this technical garbage (to me). I have spent some hours trying to find a fix, and don't know what it is called nor how to eliminate it - I assume it is some setting or add-on. My Thunderbird account setting says I am using the latest update. Please see the example attached. All help will be greatly appreciated!!!

How to avoid that the image uploaded in Signature is getting blurry in the Email message field? The uploaded image is super sharp in sizes 850 x 130px as png (same problem as jpg)

I recently replaced my Mail with Thunderbird. The left pane successfully loaded my mail folders but now I want t create new folders and insert them alphabetically. How do I d this?

My former email provider ( first light) is a huge failing mess and they cannot fix my email service. I am trying to set up a new email address with mailfence as server/provider and Thunderbird as the ap. I set up a free account( plan to upgrade if all works well) at mailfence with a new email address, XXXX, and a macbook-pro generated password. I downloaded and opened Tbird and entered my new email address, but it would not accept the password for that mailfence email account. I also tried my former email service password which also failed.

 What can I do now?

Please help me. I have 2 comcast accounts and 1 gmail account and 1 yahooaccount. I am an old Lady How do I set up each account and does one outgoing server handle all the emails. I have tried everything for hours Yahoo keeps asking me to sign in. Hi! Since I've installed Thunderbird on my new computer with Windows 11, I've now twice experienced the disappearance from my inbox of a bunch of emails. Never had this before with Thunderbird. Could it be something needs doing in Settings (I couldn't find any relevant options)? The emails weren't among the newest, but they were all important.

I know TB used to have a command to search for duplicate messages. Now, after installing the program again, I cannot find this command anymore. Why? Is it me or has it been removed? Thanks.
