One reason I have always used Firefox on my phone is that I HATE tabs staying open. It worked great for me to swipe away Firefox, and opening it again I could click my Shopping List, my Canvas for school, my image backup...everything I wanted. Now I can't and it's really frustrating.
Can Firefox PLEASE make all tabs close every time you close or swipe away from Firefox? I do NOT want to use the stupid Quit button every time.
PLEASE IT'S WHY I USE FIREFOX

More of a piece of feedback than a question: when opening tabs from a collection (using firefox Beta), it seems that the browser treats this as restoring a previously closed tab rather than opening a new tab and navigating to a site/bookmark. This ... is problematic. And causes some weird behaviour. - Oftentimes (and seemingly at random, can't tell whether this is due to updates or if it just changes at will) tapping a site in a collection causes it to be opened in a background tab, instead going to and refreshing whichever open tab was last displayed before opening the new tab. This makes the new (collection) tab appear at the top of the tab list rather than the bottom, and is overall extremely annoying. - Sites added to a collection seem to remember (some?) previous navigation history, meaning that visiting that site and then navigating "back" to get to the home screen instead navigates to whatever was visited previous to saving the site to the collection. This is entirely consistent for the collection entries where it happens. This is not how an equivalent of a bookmark should work. - Often when opening a site from a collection, it seems that what is opened is a cached version from the previous rather than actually refreshing the site from the web. I previously had this issue for a very long period, before it finally went away, but has recently returned again. Checking a news site or forum and having to remember to refresh it manually after opening is, again, extremely annoying.

I have the newest version of Firefox on my OnePlus 6. Since the browser updated itself, every action short of clicking a 'next' link opens a new tab. Why? What is the rationale behind this? Why doesn't clicking the 'back' button close the newly opened tab? Is there a security or safety reason for this change? And most importantly HOW DO I TURN THIS OFF? Having a function that automatically closes tabs after a day/week/month/whatever doesn't resolve the issue, it's a tiny band-aid over a gaping wound. 5 minutes of browsing through bookmarks should NOT result in 12 open tabs that need to be closed.
it seems that when i send more than 4 taps it only openes the one u click and the interface disapears making you unable to open the rest of the taps
I can't scroll my tabs, if I try it closes the tab menu. I'm stuck on the few tabs I can see, the rest are there, but I cannot scroll to them!
I need to be able to reorder my tabs on firefox for android. This is VERY important to me. I need to be able to do this.
Good day. With the new update, new tabs are displayed at the bottom, and old ones at the top. Is it possible to return the previous behavior?

Firefox introduced collections and removed the grid view with the ability to reorder tabs, which was one of the advantages of FF over Chrome. Honestly, I don't understand why collections are better than bookmarks. But at the time, Google introduced a grid with tab groups in Chrome. Thus, the previous win turned into a losing point in the competition with Chrome. Is Firefox planning to return the grid view?

Firefox for Android used to have the built in feature where when starting up, it would show the last open tab, just like Chrome for Android. Currently, it seems to open a new tab and put you at the selection page.
I now routinely end up with many tabs since any searches are done automatically in a new tab, since reusing a previous tab now takes several taps. It's also frustrating if I accidentally close the app to have to navigate to the tabs and find it rather than just having it be there.
It would be nice to have a setting to just switch to the previously opened tab on startup. If there is a setting for it, sorry I missed it and please disregard everything.
Thanks!

Is there no way to open address bar searches, links etc. in the current/same tab? Thank you.
