Every time I switch out Firefox iOS and switch back, the browser keeps on opening new tab instead of staying at tab I was on. Is there a way to prevent this ?

How do I get rid of the, “Close Old Tabs” feature?

It is in the way and I continually hit that instead of closed all tabs. I don’t want that feature. I don’t need that feature. It’s in the way. I’d like it to disappear.

I've setup the Opening Screen on the Firefox iOS app to be set as Last tab, but Firefox keep opening a new tab every time I open the app.

I enabled "Jump Back In" in assuming it would jump back to the previously opened tab after closing the app, but it doesn't work.

Cependant, cette solution n'est pas utilisable vu qu'elle est incorrecte. Je n'ai pas les options qui sont données sur l'image et dans les étapes données.

Où dois-je aller ou que dois-je faire pour trouver une solution à mon problème ?

It seems since the last major system update on my iphone11 pro max (512G), firefox (my primary browser) has been… weird.

Long keypress delays (inconsistent; about 1/3 of the time as bad as 3s to over 10s!); I notice these to a much lesser extent on other browsers, but also on other browsers (why I’m singling out the iOS 18.1 release behavior changes; currently: iOS 18.3.2)

Frequent “crashes” (app simply closing) in the middle of activity);

Scroll unresponsiveness, similar in occurrence and delay times to keypress issues;

I have wondered if I’m having: • malicious software problem (?) • hardware intermittent failures (my battery needed replacement, which I’ve recently done and many things on the phone operate better, likely better use of multi-cores) • iOS software depending on new chips, and iphone 11 not having - software solution w/in iOS which is… inadequate

One thing I’ve noticed which is consistent (something I have not used before these behaviors, but partly this - and phone reboots - because of it):

Attempts to close all tabs consistently, always fails.

I am trying to turn off the auto refresh function, but I can’t get to the actual configurator page. When I type about:config into my url bar, I get search results via DuckDuckGo, instead of the configuration page. When I click on link, I get taken to a Mozilla help page, but CANNOT get to the actual configurator, to change the setting to “true”. How can I actually get this page to come up?!?!?!

When clicking on a search link in firefox for ios, it does not open a new tab, which it used to do. I prefer that, if I need to do more searches from the search query. It is an issue on both iPhone and iPad, but not on pc (Mac or Linux).

After updating to version 129.2 on my iPhone, I can no longer rearrange my tabs. I can tap and hold on a tab and move it but then it snaps back to the old position. This is making the browser unusable for me. I have tried closing and reopening the app and restarting my iPhone but neither worked.

Until yesterday I had a 6-tab grid view of urls on my Iphone. I have no idea why but it has reverted to list mode and I do not like it. It limits what I can be reading at the same time about a topic. I have tried everything I can find on the web about changing it but have not been successful because I can find no where where in settings where it gives me the option of the grid view. HELP!!!

As the title says, after the last update I’m getting a blank screen when I delete the current tab, normally I would get the Home Page with all my favourites and things

The behavior of Firefox on my iPad when long-pressing a link and selecting the “Open link in new tab” option is counter to how it should operate. It opens the link in a new background tab. It should open the link in a new tab and bring that tab to the foreground, like it does in the desktop app.

Firefox for iOS version 127.0 (42448) deletes tabs when app is closed. The option to keep tabs when the apps is closed has been removed from the privacy menu. So how can I configure the app to keep tabs between sessions?

The button in settings/privacy/close tabs automatically has disappeared in firefox for ios v 127. It appears that I no longer have the option to keep my private tabs open which is very inconvenient

When I opened my iPad all tabs saved in private browsing had disappeared. I keep them there not because they are particularly private but for ease of access. A note from Google said that it had changed my settings as they didn’t know if I was over 18. (I’m 75!) and I needed to sign in to Google. I always use Duck Duck Go as my search engine on my desktop and do NOT want to use Google if possible. Can you help. I’m really fed up/ angry about this intrusion. Sorry for explanatory ramble. Ever since I updated the app, all of my tabs keep disappearing when I close the app. I’ve kept a lot of tabs on my Firefox app, and it’s very upsetting that I keep losing the tabs that I need. Is there any fix?
