So I'm just idly doing cleanup / maintenance work on my saved passwords and have encountered the most ridiculous error message:

• Vulnerable Password
• Learn more\
• This password has been used on another account that was likely in a data breach. Reusing credentials puts all your accounts at risk. Change this password.

Except I know the password is unique.

I have a strict username / password usage where every site gets a unique password, period.

Someone broke something in when it calls ABC = DEF

When I shop for groceries, every single item I look at shows up in my Recent Activity. This wastes way too much space, plus I don't need it. Is there a way to restrict what shows?

How can I transfer open tabs from my old computer to my new one? Syncing is enabled, and the sync tabs checkbox is checked, but the tabs aren't syncing on the new device. I also couldn't find any separate function to load tabs.

Anyone use LastPass? Do YOU have any hair left? How do I put that extension up at the top. Where my red arrow points? ALSO......

Im entering the email and password i swear dozens of times every day...it never works right, ALWAYS need one or both lines filled in.  I DONT CARE IF IT DOESNT WANT ME TO SAVE THE PASSWORD. GOD KNOWS its NOT retaining it!  OK, im 75 years old. HAVE I LOST MY MARBLES?

What goes wrong with a simple tracking request on the UPS website? Try my actual case with the following link: https://www.ups.com/track?tracknum=1ZA06B736800244687&loc=fi_FI&requester=QUIC%2F/ The response in Finnish is always: "Emme voi suorittaa seurantapyyntöäsi tällä hetkellä. Yritä myöhemmin uudelleen." A quick and dirty translation is: "We cannot execute your request right now. Try again later".

This is an everlasting problem. But try the exactly same link on Chrome or Edge, and it works fine.

Hello i have recently continued the windows 10 extended version and i cannot regain my bookmarks that use to be there. They are not in the back up or the restore options in the bookmarks tab. We have tried to solve this with articles off of the Mozilla website and we have not been able to regain the bookmark access.

I have been fixing dozens of problems with 140 ESR's GUI. Earlier today I fixed almost all of the problems with the search panel:

Except one: I do not know how to detect when the default search engine has changed. I need to know how to detect when the default search engine changes so I can update the favicon and placeholder text by recalling my gui_fixes_search_favicon() function in userChrome.js.

I'm an experienced web developer of 20+ years and would be grateful if someone could share their insight without the often "obligatory" cautionary tales 101 bit. Thank you in advance!

for awhile now I am getting this message. I have multiple browser windows open with multiple tabs each. Even if I delete all but one browser window I still get this message.

What can I do to rid myself of this message?

google is saying cookies are disabled when using FF to login. This was working Privacy is set to STANDARD and I went into settings and removed google.com as well to no avail.

How do I fix this?

Hello I am having major problems with Firefox at the moment and have done for a while. I curently have four pages open but as you can see from the attached screen shot of my Task Manager, there are 14 Firefox processes. The usage is OTT on memory and everything else. Could you tell me why this is happening? Currently it is running in Troubleshooting mode but that is not doing anything to improve the problem. It has been known to shut my computer down, as it gets too hot. I run on Windows 10 and Bitdefender is my security. All help is gratefully received. Thanks Lisa

I installed Firefox on a fresh Win 11 install, and most of the the favicons are still generic on the Home Page several days later. Facebook, Ebay and Youtube are the only ones that appear consistently, sometimes other will display, but then be gone again the next time the app is launched. All other links just have the generic letter icons.

I tried deleting the 3 favicon files in the Profiles folder, but it did nothing. I've tried manually re-adding the links, still nothing. I removed the "S" from "https;//" and still nothing. The favicons all show up on my other machines which use Firefox on the same user account, so it is not a problem with the websites themselves.

Not sure if its related, but upon installing Firefox on this machine, it made Firefox on my Mac desktop absolutely freak out. I had to make a significant number of changes over the course of hours to fix everything, so many relating to favicons alone that I don't know what actually fixed it.

What else can I do to try and get these working? Why does Firefox apparently struggle with this particular feature across multiple OSes?

Due to the previous thread locked, I had to start a new threat but it continues from the previous.

When using the scrounger located here; https://www.jeffersonscher.com/ffu/scrounger.html. It creates a JSON file which can be renamed to as used in session profiles; sessionstore.jsonlz4. This is exactly what I've done then copied it to the new profile location: \Profiles\jj55ob2s.Default (release) and I don't see my tabs restored on a FireFox engine clone browser ?

Hi, I’m trying to use the audioTracks API from the Web API. I found out that I need to enable a specific flag in Firefox, but it doesn’t seem to be working as expected. Even though my video has multiple audio tracks, it only shows one audio track and doesn’t list their properties correctly. But In Chrome, Edge and Safari it is working as expected. Here I am attaching the screenshots of both Firefox and Chrome for comparison. The Blank drop down is from FireFox.

The offline package download speed is too slow and sometimes fails. I hope it can be provided separately, like interface language packs, just as Debian has separate interface language packs.

My bookmarks (400+) that I have accumulated over several years were all gone when I signed into my computer recently. I tried to restore them, but I was unable to get them back from all of the 15 backup points. I kept getting an "unable to process backup folder" error message. I only have one Firefox profile that I am currently signed into.

I use CC cleaner to clean my computer weekly and sometimes use the custom clean feature to clean up cookies and browsing history, but by default the clean bookmark backups box is unchecked and I have never had a problem using it before. I suppose it's possible that I may have checked that box, but I don't know if that would have also wiped the bookmarks off my browser. I am also checking with CC tech support to see if they have any answers. Suppose I may be out of luck if so.

I also sometimes go into FF settings and clear browsing history and cookies, but I don't think there's even an option to wipe out all bookmarks. I have also been doing that for years, and have never had an issue before. Does anyone know if there's a way to re-download my bookmarks from the cloud, or do I have to start all over again?

Any tips would be appreciated, thanks.
