Hello, I have tried everything...filters, added contact, blocked senders but I'm still not receiving any email from Firefox. I need my verification numbers to continue to sign into my account. thanks in advance for helping, Scott

I enabled two-step authentication on my Firefox Account by clicking on "Add". Everything went OK. (It was the first time I enabled it. I've been negligent.) The "name" (email) on the token generated by my 2FA App was the primary email of my Firefox Account.

Then I clicked on "Change", and followed through the same steps as when 2FA was "Added". Now, the "name" on the generated token was neither the primary or the secondary email of my Firefox Account ! The name on the token was the email I used as the primary email of my Firefox account back in 2020 ! Despite the wrong name (email), the 2FA code worked fine for signing in. How and why does this happen? What is the intended purpose of the "Change" option?

I fixed the name on the token by Disabling then Adding 2FA again.

A Curiosity?: When I try to sign into Firefox account, 2 emails are offered by Firefox - the current primary email for the account, and the previous primary email for the account. The second email IS in Logins, but not for accounts.firefox.com. The 2nd email is rejected if it is tried to be used. Where is Firefox getting the previous account email from?

So i've lost access to my email on. my old mozilla accounts and upon logging in on a new device im being asked for a code to the email which i don't have access to anymore is there a way that my info can be synced to a new one. Thanks

Getting this error: There was a problem enabling two-step authentication. Check that your device’s clock is set to update automatically and start over.

Yes Im on the right timezone, updated on auto sync and have tried multiple 2FA apps.

'Gmail continues to require 2-step verification when I sign into one of my gmail accounts. I cannot seem to turn this off, even though I've turned off 2-Step verification on my Google account. Is Firefox part of this situation?

After the last Firefox update, I am not able to sign in to Hotmail (or possibly Microsoft account in general). Firefox is asking for "Face, fingerprint, PIN or security key" - but it has never asked to create any of these. Apparently, it is impossible to sign in with a password. And this request seems to originate from Firefox, not from Microsoft - and I am able to sign in to Hotmail with other browsers. How can I disable this, so I can use Hotmail in Firefox?

Hi I have my recovery key under the email and wish to reactivate the account. I can’t receive the two factor authentication email to be able to get to the place where I input the key. Thank.

When I want to login with my Firefox account it asks me for a code as 2 factor but I can't remember that I ever signed up for 2 -factor . I have 2 apps fro 2 factor: google and Microsoft but neither has Mozilla identification in it. I would like to sign up for 2 factor but it looks like someone already did that for me. What now?

TWO STEP VERIFICATION AUTOMATICALLY FORCED ON ONE OF MY COMPUTERS

AND FIREFOX DOES NOT "REMEMBER" WHEN SIGNED IN EVEN THOUGH CHECKED AT SIGNIN

Hi, I am failing to access two of my yahoo mail accounts.

I am using Fire fox as my browser and Yahoo as my home page.

I have one other yahoo account which doesn't use two step signing in (where they send a code to my Android phone). This I can access.

I see there are a lot of people on the Internet suffering the same thing. What is the answer; if there is any.

I have tried most of the suggestions. I can't email them (can't find their address) or phone them (number don't work).

There are premium numbers. Is this the way it is going? If it is; if I can get my emails back, I think I will leave them.

No point emailing me. I can't get in.

Please Help; help; help, Ahhhhhh!

I was trying to sign in to siriusxm.com. A box came up that said "Please insert your security key", with a diagram that looks like a flash drive. It said the request came from FireFox Mozilla Corp.

Is this one flashdrive key that will work for everything Firefox Mozilla Corp wants to guard, or it is something required by SiriusXM? I've never heard of it, but have seen it pop up for two or three things in the last week. I don't know how to satisfy the requirement. I looked though the topics on FireFox help page, and nothing mentions it that I can find.

This is rather annoying. Firefox will disconnect/logout my account rather frequently. But the actual issue is... when I go to log back into the account. The login process will send me an e-mail with a code.

And I have 2FA disabled, but I still have to go through the 2FA process.

How do I effectively TURN THIS OFF.

(I do not store passwords in Firefox...I only store a few convenient shortcuts in the bookmark bar)

I use this feature so I have the same shortcuts in my bookmarks bar across multiple computers.

I cannot log in to iCloud.com, even after setting a popup block exception. When I click on the "go" arrow after entering password, I get a notice on my iPhone to allow access. After I approve, I get a 6-digit verification code on the iPhone. But no popup window appears on the Firefox tab, so I can enter the code. Any suggestions?

I cant setup my 2FA every time Im at the end of the process where I need to add one of my security keys it just crashed with note that my time of the device is not corrent or whatever. Hi there, I am trying to get firefox to stop allowing outlook to try and get my fingerprint or face ID as my Macbook Pro 2014 doesn't have these features. I am running macOS Big Sur (as this is the only one that still works decent). The Open Web Autentification Panel pop up says "Touch your secuity key to continue with login.microsoft.com". Thank you for any help you might provide!
