Hi Yesterday I replaced my computer. I'm trying to sync my account data, but unfortunately, nothing is syncing. I have all the data selected for syncing (bookmarks, history, etc.), and the logs in about:sync-log are empty. It looks like the data from your server has been cleared. Firefox is freshly installed. Please help.

Earlier today I reformatted my device but when I logged in to firefox I can only see my history is getting synced my bookmarks are empty, I've checked and bookmarks are check off and they should be synced. How do I get them to sync? It has worked fine in the past. Thanks.

Hello, I am transferring to a new device but my device is not syncing and just loading even when I tried to close and open Firefox. I've tried to also log this in via support but to no avail. Appreciate any help on this. Thank you!

Dear Mozilla Team, I installed my Fieefox on Linux Mont on an old Laptop I use as my daily machine. Firefox however after login does not sync to my previous installs. I have installed and removed firefox on my mobile (iphone), with no change. Also re-installing and singning out, signing back in did not help. What can I do to get all my bookmarks and PWs back?

I recently reinstalled Windows on my computer and expected Firefox to sync and restore my saved passwords, as I had enabled Firefox Sync before reinstalling. However, after syncing my account, my passwords did not appear, and I am unable to access them.

I have already tried the following steps:

   Checked the sync status of my Firefox account.
   Ensured that I am signed into the correct Firefox account on my browser.
   Searched for any relevant troubleshooting steps but haven't been able to resolve the issue.

Could you please assist me in restoring my saved passwords or provide any guidance on how I can retrieve them?

Hi,

I changed my password in my Mozilla account and now I can no longer sync my firefox for android.

I scan the QR code and on my android screen proceeded normal and asking me to confirm but in my desktop I get an error.

"General application error Something went wrong. Try again later."

I also tried in safe mode with no luck.

What to do now?

I have switched from chrome to firefox on my windows 11 laptop. I want to do the same on my pc but after signing into the Mozilla account, the bookmarks do not come in. History, and other things seem to work fine. I tried manually synchronizing in the settings over and over again but nothing works.

I have no idea what to do other than going back to chrome where things just worked and I didn't have to spend hours looking at forums for solutions that do not work...

I have a profil i didn't use since 22 days because computer issues

I need to retrieve ALL my tabs from this device For some issues i could'nt to it all before.

Now, i can see in my firefox profil pge, the profil exist. But if i go to my firefox installed in my new computer, i don't see THIS firefox device with ALL my VERY IMPORTANT tabs.

Is there any way to retrieve them ?

I'm attempting to set up Firefox in a newly installed OS and have logged into my Sync account. Many aspects seem to be loaded in, but the status via the Settings is stuck at "Syncing..." despite waiting several hours. Quitting Firefox results in a crash window popping up.

There are no files in the weave/logs directory. The weave/failed directory has multiple json files; most almost completely empty. addons.json has an ID, but that's pretty much it.

Deleting the .mozilla directory and starting over yielded no change in behavior.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I recently installed a fresh copy of Windows 11 and then installed the latest version of the Firefox browser. However, when I try to sign in to my Firefox account, it does not sync any of my data. My bookmarks, passwords, browsing history, and other synced items are not appearing.

I have tried clicking the "Sync Now" button, but nothing happens. I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this issue so I can recover my data.

I have a desktop and a laptop on firefox. I am selling my laptop so i cleared history and deleted all bookmark history.

To my horror, even though i remember i have signed out of mozilla account on the laptop firefox, on my desktop firefox all the bookmarks including bookmark folders are gone. Thankfully, i have a fairly recent backup of firefox userprofile file so i restored them.

However, to my horror once more time, I realize now firefox sync automatically deletes my bookmarks everytime it syncs so i have to turn it off.

How can i make firefox sync to treat my current bookmarks as the latest and stop deleting them?

I wanted to synch my current settings in my browser to import them on my new laptop. When I tried to login to my account, I the message from the attached screenshot appeared. So I created a new profile, got my stuff back to what it should be and then deleted the "new" profile. But now every time I try to get into the correct profile and login into my account, I still get the message from the screenshot. I never ever synched with another profile before and never had an issue in the past. Right now I am rather pissed off, because I lost atleast some of my bookmarks during this whole ordeal.

I created an account on an old PC, in the account it is visible as kos-work-note, now I am on a new kos-ltop, and there is no data at all in the browser, why is that?

The subject says it all. The "tabs from other devices" are a) Shown as a long flat list of links, not in their individual tabs, which is disappointing b) right click does nothing - doesn't open them as advertised
