Some of the installations seem to be blocked by Microsoft if you are using a Microsoft system. If the Software being downloaded is not sold by Microsoft store, Microsoft blocks it or deforms it. During any update, Microsoft removes MusicBee and some other software not purchased from Microsoft store

In Safari I can right click on a URL & navigate through a hierarchy of folders to a specific location & add the bookmark to that folder.

Having imported that folder hierarchy to Firefox, I can't find a way to save the page I am currently on to a particular folder in that hierarchy.

Hii. Amazing browser tho, whenever i pin something on top or chuck it into essentials - when i close that tab - it disappears (and reappears on browser restart) - i could not locate any setting pertaining to essentials that would stop that behavior (ideally when i close the pinned/essential tab i would love it to stay there as a bookmark - anyone know of a way to achieve this?

installed mint 22 and my sound does not work, in you tube see videos good but no sound i think its a driver issue, but i am new to linux trying to fix. any help is good.

I don't live in the U.S. and I LOATHE Donald Trump.

I would like the right to BLOCK ALL Donald Trump news, references, and any other reports that include his name or are written about him. I think it is propaganda forced upon the masses to have to see this jackass day in and day out. And for the next four years he will be front page news on every single God Damned channel, paper, report and internet news feed.

Please allow us to put him on a BLACK LIST and give us the right to Black List anyone we see fit to put on that list. I curate my YT feeds, specifically, and I have black listed several people and topics from any and all of my feeds. I think the internet should allow us to do so for ourselves, and not be forced by internet providers and search engines and web browsers to out up with that jackass for another four years !!

The visual and audio notifications for incoming emails being posted to the inbox of gmail under Mozillia Firefox do not function correctly when ran on a Linux Mint operating system computer.

I can get the visual notifications to work as long as the Firefox is open but once that session is closed the visual notifications are no longer issued, i.e. the setting to issue those notifications are not being saved upon closing of the browser.

I can get the audio notifications to work on a sporadic basis. I go into the settings on gmail and choose one of the audio sound notification choices and it works a few times when income emails are received into the inbox, but then just stops even if the current firefox/gmail session is still open.

My theory is that those firefox/gmail settings are not getting preserved/saved in proper manner to be available for subsequent sessions of firefox/gmail because firefox/gmail does not understand the FILE STRUCTURES of Linux Mint Mate so that those settings can be properly preserved for use by subsequent sessions of firefox/gmail.

Please consider fixing this.

Does the Relay extension only work on Firefox or can it be added to other browsers? It seems like a useful tool, but I don't want to be locked into a single browser.
