I log on to my email Inbox. I also go to another Tab, e.g. a link mentioned in an email, or another file on my PC. When I try to return to emails: Roundcube has blocked my return, to protect me against some obscure error. This happens on Firefox (necessitating shutting down the computer, not just a Re-start), but not on Internet Explorer.
How can I tell Roundcube to xxxx off ?

I've recently switched back to Firefox (for Mac) after being away from Ff for a long time, and have been tinkering with my settings and whatnot to try and get things the way I would like them. I suspect, like most things, that I'm just missing something. ;-)
Basically, I don't want Ff to remember any autofill//form information, and I've got that working, but I would like it to be able to respect when a website allows you to click a radio button for "Remember <Me//This//Etc>". It does not seem to be doing that at the moment.
Does Ff have a setting that will let websites that you specifically click "Remember Me" be remembered, or is it an all or nothing?

I have developed an Intranet application that uses Windows Authentication. It works correctly in IE, Edge and Chrome. It does the windows authentication properly in Firefox. The only problem is that the login box is displayed, the application loads properly in the background and if you hit Cancel from the login box it goes away until you restart Firefox and there it is again! I have tried all the answers about adding my sites to the trusted uris in the about:config app. To make things even more weird, on my development machine, the login box does not show up, which is the desired behavior. As far as I know, I have duplicated all the appropriate settings to a client machine, but the login box still appears. What am I missing?

Hi, Following the advice of a Mod, I updated to Firefox 66.0.5. Now in my e-mail, e-mails from Nintendo don't show images at all (see screenshot). Going through all possible official and unofficial guides, nothing helped, as most guides say click on the lock and "disable protection for now" button, but this new Firefox version doesn't have such options. Today I also noticed on the streaming platform Twitch, where small "treasure chest" images should pop up from time to time through an extension, the image was completely black (should be of a treasure chest). This bug is not present on any other updated browsers, a viewer on Chrome confirmed he sees them normally. Articles read that didn't help: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-tell-if-my-connection-is-secure https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/mixed-content-blocking-firefox In Privacy and Settings I toggled everything on and off and issue still persists. I will try to figure out if this is E-Mail provider issue or not, I will try to post a screenshot about Twitch and the black image in the next days as well. Thank you.

Hi, I am using firefox with the unified search bar with Google as the default search engine showing search suggestions. In this setup, is it true that whatever I am typing on the address bar (e.g. a previously visited url) is automatically and always sent to google?
If so, is there anyway that I can configure firefox to show search suggestions ONLY when I am using a keyword (like vivaldi)?
Any insight on this will be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Hello Mozilla -- I've been dealing with a problem over the past week and would like to ask for whatever assistance anyone could provide.
I've been entering online sweepstakes through the various websites of Publisher's Clearing House ("PCH") for a number of years, but have had trouble with a number of browsers I've used previously; for full disclosure, I have also informed their Customer Service of this issue and will be examining this issue with them simultaneously. I've used Internet Explorer and Google Chrome to participate in PCH activities over the years, but have experienced various problems; late last year, I transitioned over to Firefox, and despite having problems here as well, I had a breakthrough by using Firefox's Incognito mode, which minimized the frequency of performance problems, if not nearly eliminating them altogether. I soon learned that the reason why the site performance improved on these instances was because of the automatic settings of the Content Blocking in Incognito mode, which blocked a number of disruptive third-party cookies from interfering with a site's essential functions.
Unfortunately, about a week ago, I hit a snag; while on a PCH website (while Incognito), a pop-up from the page came up saying that ad-blocking software had been detected, and was trying to get permission to get through the firewall. I dismissed most of the initial wave of pop-up messages, but in a momentary lapse of attention, I accidentally clicked the "I Agree!" button to allow PCH's third-party content to get past Firefox's Content Blocker. At first, I didn't think there would be a problem, since all cookies and data get undone once Incognito mode is closed, but unfortunately, the third-party content from PCH websites continue to get past the Content Blocker, especially while in a private window. What's worse, all efforts to undo this mistake have failed, despite taking a number of troubleshooting measures to re-establish a firewall on third-party content from these sites.
In the last several days, I have refreshed Firefox several times, uninstalled (and reinstalled) the browser on several occasions, and have even used the Profile Manager to delete all files from the browser's profile. Despite all these actions taken, the browser continues to recognize third-party content from all PCH web pages while in Private Browsing. I've also used the site information to adjust the privacy settings to levels higher than "Standard" instead; I've set the Content Blocking level to "Custom" in order to block all third-party cookies, and failing that, went ahead and set it to "Strict" to try blocking everything. Nonetheless, the third-party content still manages to get through, and subsequently drags both website and browser performance down with it. I will include a couple of screengrabs taken in the last few days of recent attempts at private browsing, with the site information drop-down windows visible to display some of the third-party cookies that are detected while Incognito.
With all the aforementioned steps taken so far, I wanted to ask if there is anything else that can be done to undo the permission I accidentally gave to these websites and go back to the third-party contents thereof being prevented from displaying while in private windows. Even in the site information tab, it clearly states that "no special permissions are given to this website." I would like to repeat for all's benefit that I am also in the process of discussing this matter directly with PCH Customer Service to see if the problem can be corrected from their end, if not through Mozilla. Again, it took a brief lapse in focus to grant this site permission to breach the private-window firewall, but nothing has worked so far to undo this mistake.
I welcome all helpful advice to this end, and I thank everyone in advance.
P.S.--- My apologies; I've tried to add a pair of JPEG images to this message, but they did not seem to want to upload (I was able to type out the entirety of this question, and finished well before the uploading of the first image did), so I won't be able to include them here for the time being. I will try to do so again at a later time.

FF 66.0.3 (64-bit)
Cookie AutoDelete - I have checked "Localstorage Cleanup (Firefox 58+)?". But many sites remain - Cookies are deleted but storage persists. Or perhaps the Cookies listed are still there, even though it shows 0, because Data column still shows an amount.
In the developer's thread on GitHub, it is speculated that this is a FF issue:
I'm not sure how firefox displays the storage size completely, but based on my interpretation from the following screenshot, it's a firefox thing (or a bug on their end) and not a bug with this webextension itself."
NOTE - JUST DISCOVERED - It's even worse - FF definitely is not clearing Cookies and Data -
I've just done the following 3 times with the same result each time:
FF: Cookies and Site Data / Manage Data / Remove All - Everything disappears. I close it, then reopen manage data - they are all back, including ones for which I am not on their site currently (no tabs open) - such as
What to do?
