Hello I am a Firefox user and I just updated Firefox to the latest version.I get my desktop Instagram from Firefox browser. I have all the extensions for Instagram on my Firefox add ons. I was able earlier this week to to be able to send Instagram videos to the desktop to save in a file. I can no longer send any Instagram videos to my desktop. reached out to one of the Instagram Extensions developer for Fire fox and chrome in which by the way I can send to desk top. The developer seems to think it has something to do with a code between Instagram and Firefox Please help. I want to say with Firefox and not Chrome but I may have to If i want the videos to go to my desktop. I also ran Firefox with addon disabled changed Firefox and Instagram passwords i do not know what to do Please help

i am using an iMac 27" with MacOS Catalina 10.15.1. Today I noticed that when I search a website for an unique token (as an example, 1234), and the token is not found the search window turns red but the sound no longer is used. Notices from Outlook and Chrome work fine.
Any thoughts? I ndo a ot of searches and the audio notification was a great way to get my attention.

Automatically I received even more Spam to my main email account. Only Firefox had both email addresses as one was an alias. HAS FIREFOX BEEN HACKED or something more sinister for Firefox?

For some reason, my Firefox theme and Search box options reset themselves today. There was no issue yesterday, and I have not updated Firefox, extensions, plugins or Windows or anything else since then. Bookmarks/Top Sites are all as before, and restarting my machine and Firefox made no difference. I also over-saved the search settings file in my Firefox profile, but that has made no difference either.
Any ideas why this has happened?

I visited my brother during the last week. His iMac was infected with some malware, and, because I have my own account in his computer with the same Apple-ID, also my computer got infected. I spoke with 6 senior technicians from the Europe Apple HQ in Cork / Ireland, but they have never seen such a resistant malware. In a word, I want to re-install the operating system and all applications in my computer. How can I save all my Bookmarks, History and all open Tabs+Windows of the last session, so that I can reload them in the Firefox I will install from scratch in the future? My default player is Windows media player before the update and as of last week i was able to get any instagram video to sown load to my desktop I no longer can. I have reinstalled Firefox reinstalled widows media player, changed my instagram password. Changed my firefx password, have the latest adobe installed/. Tried downloaing instagram videos in safe mode with no extentions it will not go to desktop I have Ig helper add on instagram photo and video downloader it will not down load to my desktop as of 2 days it will in Google Chrome but id rather not use Chrome

Hopefully someone will pick this up? Since my Surface Pro updated to Windows 1909 everytime Firefox updates it causes problems with sound. This is whether I am watching video outside Firefox, watching You tube in Firefox or any video in Firefox.
Symptoms.
Watching video in external video player, not having opened Firefox since rebooting surface pro - no issues Open Firefox watch a couple of vids on YouTube and sound fails - try going back to watching videos outside Firefox, video still failed.
Cure- reload Windows.
New update for Firefox (yesterday) and problem re-appears again.
This happened a couple of years ago and I solved it then by deleting Firefox from my Surface Pro. After about 6 months I decided to give it another chance and all was good until after the 1909 update and Firefox updated. Reloaded Windows 1909 (clean copy) and all ok again until yesterday when Firefox updated again.
Guess I'm going to have to reload Windows again to cure the issue caused by Firefox, again.

Why does Firefox 71 prefer an expired client certificate?

I have multiple client certificates in Firefox. When I go to a site which requires a client certificate it pops up the selector for the client certificate. With Firefox 70 (I think) by default it chose a matching and valid client certificate. Now with Firefox 71 it seems to sort the client certificates by serial number and thus the one selected by default is the first one in the list, which is expired in my case. Thus, now each time I go to a site where I need a client cert I must manually pick the correct, valid certificate.
Doesn't looks like an improvement to me. Or is there a new config setting which I have missed?
I am having trouble logging in to my Synology NAS - "You are not authorized to use this service."
This is a recent change - I never used to have a problem logging in with Firefox. I can log in with MS Edge without a problem

The image won't show in Firefox as it usually did some hours ago. I tried a Cookies/Cache cleaning process, didn't work. Restarting w/o add on, didn't work.
I had to, open the file containing the download and open the image using the windows tool.
With PDFs, every time I download an file, it will show an error message saying that the file couldn't be found. Same as before, only manually opening from windows will work
While I am playing a full screen online game, FF keeps exiting fullscreen whenever the cursor comes close to the upper edge.
Result: the view changes a lot, slowing down the game to boot. VERY annoying. Is there a fix or addon to keep fullscreen until I myself decide to turn it off?
