Getting really frustrated with security exceptions. When I went to download Firefox I was forced to take Nightly, Would not have had it had a choice been available. Now I am getting security exceptions. (I have not adjusted my security settings). What is really frustrating is being given a "Recommended Option" but no alternative. Surely to have a recommended option you must have to have more than one option. This is happening when I try to load a page on ebay. Not the entire page, just the product details.

Below the title it says: "Nightly detected a potential security threat and did not continue to www.paypal.com. If you visit this site, attackers could try to steal information like your passwords, emails, or credit card details.

www.paypal.com has a security policy called HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS), which means that Nightly can only connect to it securely. You can’t add an exception to visit this site."

I don't think PayPal is in-secure.

I tried many answers I found here, like going to about:config and changing security.tls.version.max from the default of 4 to 3 etc.

I am seeing a significant uptick in the number of wen pages that simply do not render correctly. See the image

Any idea why nightly has this flaky activity going on?

I am running Firefox nightly and would like to stop the update popup I am running nightly so i am able to use legacy addons like Overlay scrollbars anyway normal Firefox can run legacy addons?

I am using firefox nightly and it no longer allows me to drag and drop images from my browser to my desktop. If I "Save image as..." the image saves correctly to my desktop. I refreshed nightly, restarted in safe mode, disabled all add-ons, and updated it. Nothing has worked. I do not know my problem. This is a problem that occurs on every website.

Edit: When I say that it is similar to this previous problem I mean not that it has the same source problem, as much as it was closest to what I'm experiencing I think

Everytime Firefox Nightly updates, it opens maximised and then minimises itself to the taskbar. When I reopen it, it is windowed. Is there anything I can do to stop this from happening?

Since the recent updates for the Firefox Nightly, my laptop is ALWAYS getting the famous Black Screen and upon restart i see the text "Resuming Windows".

I use the (known to be bad) combination of an i3 2330M processor, and the Intel HD Family Graphics driver. That combination is known to be the father and mother of many Black Screens if software does not handle that bad combination well. Intel denies any wrong-doing, but the Internet search results are speaking quite an exact language when looking for the involved hardware for these Black Screens.

Please, Firefox developers, bypass that terrible Black Screen problem. At the moment, i have to use the Safari browser just to be able to send you this message.

Hi, I'm seeing near constant 30-40% CPU usage and ~1GB memory usage by the browser chrome process, and ~20% CPU but ok memoray usage by one of my (7) content processes. I'm on Nightly 61.0a1 (2018-04-24) (oldish Nightly because I'm nearly out of bandwidth so I can't afford updating and reloading all of my tabs at the moment). I recorded a performance profile: http://perfht.ml/2G77fPz. Could somebody tell me what's consuming CPU? Thanks.

After last Nigltly update (on 2018-05-08) Firefox search/adress bar is full broken. This has these behaviours: 1. Settings -> search. Happen nothing. It's not load Search settings page. 2. Search/adress bar if I need search something in browser opinion I cant press "enter". If I enter valid url (http:// or https:// starts) its can go to site after enter. 3. I already delete my profile and create new - problem still exist. 4. On work (Win10x64) I don't use ANY extensions problem still exist. 5. Home I use OpenSuse Thumbleewed (kernel 4.16 KDE 5 x86_64) problem still exist (firefox download and install not from repos).

In other cases it works fine.

I am running Firefox Nightly 61.0a1 at 4k resolution on a Dell XPS 15 9560 on windows 10. When I go into fullscreen mode, there is a white border that stays on the left side of my screen. This only happens in fullscreen mode. I have tried uninstalling the program completely and reinstalling, and that did not work. I have done a lot of web searching to see if anyone else had this problem, but it turns out it's only me. There is a inquiry on the mozilla support website, but that was resolved by moving the taskbar to the bottom and then back. My taskbar is already on the bottom and when I move it to the side and back to the bottom, the line still exists. I have attached an image of what this is. Because the white line is hard to see in the preview, I would recommend opening the image in a new tab or saving the image and opening it in a photoviewer so you can see the line. It really ruins the overall clean and sleek aesthetic of the browser. The line also persists on the bottom of the screen as seen in the second picture.

I really don't want to go through a reinstall and complete removal after fixing the sync and import problems. But, The two places you say the refresh firefox buttton is i am missing. I distinctly remeber how handy and useful it was to restore all defaults. BOOM. Sending a pic. Have you moved the button or another way now to dot it maybe? Tabs crash in about 9 secs now lol. I treid restar in safe mode, then restart, no luck. if anything worse. Can't screenshot the unable to play audio error message now, cause no tab stay open without crashing asap. Security errors too. bad now on sites like pandora, i had to add exception

I keep getting a pop-up message telling me to install the latest version of Nightly but every time it fails. I'm also getting horrendous playback and performance issues with videos on YT.

For instance, I am signing into a website and it requires send a SMS to my cell phone or an email. I check the box that this is my personal private computer, not a public computer and request that subsequent uses of this website not ask for a security email or SMS. Not time I use it, it still requests.

Anyway that I can avoid this?
