I seem to be unable to install Firefox on my Windows 11 desktop because there is apparently an old version already on my computer. I wish to reinstall Firefox with your help

Windows 10 pro OS is persistently repeatedly blocking every attempt I make at Installing Firefox.

Basis: the exe. / installer, is potentially harmful to the PC.

My investigation: Is 4GB RAM sufficient to reasonably run my Lenovo ThinkPad Edge 420s(4401-7SG) PC? OS Windows Pro.

I was doing puzzles on my sons account because i cancelled my previous account but decided to reactivate Facebook on Fire fox. My sons account was on Edge but I put my new account on Fire Fox. I reactivated my new account on 6/29/24 got a new computer with Windows 11 and when I try to access it, it tells me to download it. What I need is to be able to activate it on my Windows 11 in order to use it. If you need any more information I will be glad to give it to you. It was downloaded from my old Windows 10 on to my Windows 11. Hope this make sense to you.

sir, lately i had problems with syncronizing FIREFOX between two computers. seems one has an "old" version. i cannot "install" new versions; i download, but then, how to "install-activate". then i checked on "entry-passwords"...hélas, i do not understand your explanations... the technical terms.... what is the account for... etc. i am 80 years old, and i guess you, the IT community, can't care less.

Mozilla Firefox is out of order and disappears. I try to down load it, but the message says that I need to find the Firefox version for windows 8 or 7 . My computer is on windows 10. Can you help ? Thanks.

Error message reads: The disc image couldn't be opened. The operation couldn’t be completed. Input/output error.

It appears from the help page that many people can't seem to get Firefox to download on a MacBook Air but there is not solution provided.

I have a Windows 7 PC. IE no longer works. I would like to use Firefox to access the Internet. Firefox offers a version for download. I got it using my Windows 11 PC, however it fails saying that it can only be installed on Windows 10. Can this be fixed? I cannot access the Internet from my Windows 7 PC.

I am not able to use Mozilla Firefox on my computer. It's the only browser I have been using. When I tried logging in today, I got a pop up the said: 147.0.1 is not compatible with min version 147.0, max version 147.0. Try to reinstall. I reinstalled but no luck. Please help. I need my bookmarks.

For the last few days, Firefox is being removed from my computer overnight and i have to re-intall the browser the next morning. Sometimes it's still there the next day, and sometimes it's gone again the next day. What i causing this and how can i prevent it from being removed? Jenny

Firefox installation error on 2021 MacBook - Compressed data is corrupted or the split compressed file is missing.

The same thing happens when you download with Safari and Chrome browsers. I would like to know how to solve this. Thank you.
