When navigating Patreon, I have noticed that Firefox Nightly bogs down/becomes unresponsive within the first few links. This trend has also been observed on Ebay, and other image heavy websites. Previous versions of Nightly (approximately 1 week ago) did not exhibit this behavior.

The regular edition of Firefox also exhibits this behavior.

Firefox Developer Edition remains more stable/responsive. However there has been a decline in its responsiveness as of the July 18th update.

I have tried to create an account on bugzilla to report these issues in greater detail, However I am not receiving the activation/confirmation email required to complete the account.

Opening links from external applications (i.e.: Outlook, Word, a PDF, etc.) begins to open a new tab in Firefox, sometimes it'll open a "full" tab-width before hanging, more often than not, I'll see a sliver of the new tab while Firefox sorts itself out.

Typically when this happens, I'll see upwards of 50% CPU usage from Firefox itself. Memory seems sane.

Hardware acceleration, whether it's on or off, makes no difference. Issue persists in safe-mode, and safe-mode with add-ons disabled. Issue persists in Firefox and Firefox Developer Edition.

I've added a new device and am trying to synch it (my new laptop). My account shows everything synched (history, bookmarks, log-ins). However, none of my previous history is showing up. None of my old bookmarks are visible.

Either something didn't work right with synching, or (much worse) all of my Firefox bookmarks, history, and log-ins have been lost. I have no way of knowing what the problem is, since everything shows as being correctly synched on my laptop when I view my Firefox account.

Please advise.

I own Adobe Acrobat Pro. But it does not show up in my Firefox Extensions as it used & as it does in Chrome. The online instructions said to go Firefox Customize Additional Tools & Features & drag Adobe in to Firefox. But I cannot find Additional Tools & Features in Firefox. How do I make this extension function & see the Adobe Icon in the upper right icons on Firefox? thank you Jonathan Rose

Hello, over the past week, a website that always downloaded will not open. It's a problem with my laptop, not with the site itself or any other user. I've done everything the "help" articles suggest, but I still can't access the site. It's a job site, so it's imperative that I log back on. Any ideas?

Hello, at least once for day my firefox Crash. It often happen when i have 4-5 tabs opened, it simply close and then later 20-30 second it reopens. Firefox, when reopens, does not try to send a notification.

Any idea of what can i check or how to understand whta problem i have? Thank you

Just noticed that i no longer cant comment on youtube? Don´t even se the "leave a public comment" section either Tried to delete cookies just for youtube with no luck, tried microsofts edge browser and there was the comment section? So what happend to mozilla? Still run win7 64 bit, latest update on the browser.

Lately when I try to send a question by filling in a form on a web site I get some sort of fail message. The last one was a question about a product on Lowe's WEB site, I got "Something went wrong please try again later". I did the same thing in Microsoft Edge and it went through.

After new update to 79.0, I can not use the Pay Bill Screen on the Chase Bank Web Site. After i select "Pay this Amount" the Screen turns white Never had a problem for over 10 years. I use CCleaner / Privacy Eraser / Glary Utilities often. Thank you for any help Steve

Ok so this really has me pulling my hair out. My old laptop died the other day and so I bought a new one and put my old drive in an enclosure. I had my Firefox heavily customised (over the past eight years) and I don't know how to transfer it over. It used to be that I would just copy the users over and everything would be cool (XP to W7 didn't give me this problem) but it's not working this time. My guess is that it's because my old laptop used Windows 7 Ultimate x64. My desktop monster uses Windows 10 Pro but this new laptop uses Windows 10 Home (which is just awful compared to Pro) so there's probably an issue with how the user profiles are handled. I didn't have a Firefox account because I didn't want every machine I use to have the same Firefox setup. This was because my desktop and laptop are used for different purposes entirely.

Does anyone know how to import the settings from a Windows 7 profile to a Windows 10 profile? So far, I've had no luck whatsoever. Thanks!

I usually create a private window by right clicking the pinned Firefox icon on my Windows 10 taskbar. Recently, I've noticed that when I do this, I am no longer able to immediately type into the search/URL bar. I've dug through the settings - I did find some items that sounded relevant, but they did not change the correct behavior. When bringing up all my windows I see that the previous tab is still has my cursor despite the private window being in front of the previous tab. I now have to click on the private window before I'm able to type.

Any idea what changed?

Every time I update Firefox, the language changes back to English. It is annoying to change the language whenever there is an update especially that sometimes it is updated automatically

I am noticing odd behavior in my browser where some folders pull down with a caret at the top and some don't. (Please see the very tops of the two attached screenshots, just below the menu bar.)

The caret appears to have no function: it does nothing. Can somebody explain what's going on and how I can eliminate carets?
