This only started happening with Firefox 7, all previous version worked fine. When using "Save Image", Firefox will not remember the most recent location in which images were saved. It will instead randomly choose prior locations in which images were saved. When saving images, I save them in different folders to sort them properly, but firefox never remembers the most recent one used. This is INCREDIBLY ANNOYING because if I want to saving a group of images in a common folder, it constantly forces me to navigate to that folder instead of remembering the location of that folder from the last image saved there.

Helly, my problem started with FF 6. It keeps freezing the whole browser after a few minutes. I think every 15 minutes it's freezing. Now I went to the helpforum and somebody gave the advice to deinstall FF. Run CC Cleaner. And then reinstall FF. I did that, and seems to work. It wasn't hanging anymore. BUT it came back!!! I don't have a clue why. I changed nothing to my pc. Now I have upgraded to 7.0.1 and the problem of freezing is still here. When it freezes, my whole pc freezes. I can do nothing else. please fix it!

Ok I noticed that the Firefox updates have been coming quite rapidly and that the latest version is Beat. I understand Beta versions will have bugs and kinks that need to be worked out. My Problem is websites load slow as crap or don't load all together. And getting on Facebook? Forget that! Facebook has enough issues without throwing a slow Browser in the mix. My question is this. Does Firefox 7 Beta have some issues with responsiveness and speed? I noticed alot of people having the same issue as far as browsing speed. And before anyone suggests clearing history and cache. I have already done that several times. I have even checked my computer for viruses and anything else that might cause a problem like that. Add-ons and any extra toolbars are either removed or disabled and certain sites will still not load properly. Any extra information or advice would be very much appreciated! Thank you! Downloaded Winace, which required a file to installed to down load it. Now I am unable to get rid of the Web Address from Mozilla. Have tried all settings in the Options menue and it still reverts to this site. HELP!!!!

Since Firefox updated itself yesterday I have been unable to access my router's setup. My router is a D-link and uses the usual access address of : http://192.168.10.1 The following message is received. "Corrupted Content Error The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because an error in the data transmission was detected." Three other browsers on my system do not encounter this problem. Access to on-line addresses is normal.

Since installing Firefox 7 for Windows 7 x64, online videos opened to full-screen (YouTube, Vevo, etc...) open the player (Flash, Dixv, etc...) in the task bar as a separate program and the video now plays behind the task bar instead of in front of it... Please advise.

Firefox is so slow that it is easier to load ie8 and use that. It runs fine. I uninstalled Firefox and rebooted. Did not fix. I ran Glary Utilities and it found 400+ fixes. and rebooted, and did not fix. This problem showed early this morning.

within two hours I get a notification from avg that Firefox is using anywhere from 200 MB to 450MB of memory. I have closed the browser occasionally, wait a minute or two then reopen Firefox. Sometimes I won't see the avg notification for a couple days, others it's back within an hour or two.

I upgraded to Firefox 7 today, and now if I try to click in the empty space on the tab bar to the right of the current tabs I no longer get a new tab.

Is there a way to re-enable this feature?

Drop in savings menu started coming up on web pages recently-shows up in upper right corner and usually about where the logout word is when you want to close a program upper right corner and shows coupons. not sure if they're usable as I did not ask to be shown anything by the program I did not add so I don't trust where it might take me. How can I eliminate it from the browser or block it from running in the browser? I just need some technical instructions on how to find it when it runs and stop it.

You have got to be kidding me, Mozilla! You claimed that Firefox 7.0 would consume less memory than its predecessors. Well, FF7.0 does consume less memory, but when I upgraded to Firefox 7.0.1 and used the browser, it now consumes MORE memory than FF7.0 did before, and it is now at nearly 300,000 KB to nearly 500,000 KB! And that was on my first use! The second or other times I used it, Firefox 7.0.1 only consumes less memory, than the first time I used the browser! Mozilla, when will you wise up and fix the memory leaks again?

Please help me with random crashes of Firefox 7.1. I'm not sophisticated enough to give you programming data. The ting is I'd like to continue to use this browser, but feel that I can't due to very frequent crashes...which causes loss of info and restarts w/ the report to Mozilla Firefox. By the way no results from anyone on that one. I have Win 7, an HP G-60, and communicate on FB, use You tube, Gmail, Yahoo. Not asking for much, eh! just want a fix, please.

On the toolbar there are arrows for going back/forward one page at a time. That feature no longer works. Every time I click on a link I can never go back to the previous page. The arrows are greyed out as though I am at the first page loaded in that tab. I have tried re-installing, clearing history to no avail.

Any suggestions?

I have problem accessing a streaming website ( http://www.hkadr.com/stream.php ) that shows flash fonts. OK no problem with FF5, Chrome, IE.

For FF6, it is OK if I disable Aero Theme (transparent mode). Or, it is OK also if I turn the monitor resolution to 16 bit high color (from the default setting of 32 bit true color)

I have tried: disabling hardware acceleration, reset Cleartype text, upgrading the graphic card driver to the latest version - all cannot help FF6 read the problematic flash font website clearly.

My system is Win7 64 bit, AMD 6670 graphic card, CPU Q9550S, and I am running 2 monitors of 1920x1080 under 32 bit true color.

I read from another help thread that FF7 may have solved this, but I still cannot read the website under FF7.

Anyone can help please ?

I than have to clear my history before I can see the page once. After a visit I get the Aleret again. What can cause this error? When I use IE there is not such a problem. Also when I use IE TAB all is fine
