This might be asked before. Internet explorer 11 plays youtube videos without any lag or stuttering issue at all. but as I played the same video in FF, I immediately notice stutter. using FF ver64 on win8.1 64bit. Tried enble/disable HW acceleration, extensions, but no joy.

Is Mozilla aware of this?

When going to gmail in firefox I get a white screen where the gmail content would normally be. When I use Chrome it works fine. the URL I go to in both is the same:

Firefox says it is up to date when I check under "about"

I ran 2 different versions of Linux Firefox from a Linux CD and Firefox version were not able to play HTML5 from Youtube. Youtubes test shows HTML5 not available. The version of Firefox was 61.x

Why would it not play as I expect HTML5 in to Firefox? Linux support seems to think a update is required but that should only occur if Firefox itself is dependent on the operating system.

Hey there, I used to save my session with lots of open tabs by right-clicking on a tab and choose 'bookmarks for all tabs' or smth. That function seems to be gone since the last update of firefox? Is that 4 real? Thank you very much!

Since ± half october 2018 I can't play videos anymore on some sites and get this crash message. Youtube does work, probably because without Widevine? I'm on FF Dev Edition, Mac with El Capitan. Thanks, Pieter

I know how to bookmark a page- what I want to know is how to restore the bookmark star in the address bar (I accidentally removed it). I KNOW that you can bookmark a page by clicking the 3 dots at the end of the address bar and using the drop down menu, etc, or key commands.

BUT- I want to RESTORE the star that easily and quickly allowed you to bookmark a page. All other answers to this same question seem to only tell people alternate ways to bookmark a page. I don't need that. I need to know how to restore bookmark star to address bar. Thanks!

Hi I have firefox 64.0 ,,64 bit win10 Firefox is already running, but is not responding. The old Firefox process must be closed to open a new window. is a regular occurrence almost daily now , i have tried several clean installs and i uninstall with revo uninstaller and remove all leftover files , then clean with Ccleaner . even removed files manually from Regit , done firefox refresh several time run with no no add ons, run in safe mode . But still i get , same error ???

So how exactly is firefox supposed to work with oculus rift?

If I click on the vr-button on https://aframe.io/a-saturday-night/ it just makes it fullscreen on my main monitor.

If I click the vr-button on a video it usually tells me to get a browser that supports vr.

I am using Firefox 64.0 on windows 10 desktop.

I know this question has been posed more than once in the past. The answer has always been: go back to school, learn computer programming, get master classes and practice with coding until you make it. I am using Watefox since when Firefox tab bar was moved close to the sky. I just decided to try Firefox again: I have installed it and the first thing I tried to do is moving the tab bar below the address bar. It seems that there's no easy way. How can it be?, I wondered. With Waterfox I use the Tabs on Bottom add-on and that's it. You may believe my need is frivolous, but for me that makes the difference between keeping or uninstalling Firefox. Bottom line: is still forbiddend to wish to get the tab bar where I believe it should be? Thanks,

It may seem like too easy a question but my mind is not as sharp as it used to be.

How does one change background colors? Is black with white print the default?

There used to be a button in the toolbar which let you see the RSS feed for a site, then it got removed but you could add it back through the customization menu. Now I can't seem to even do that.

I guess that Firefox used the RSS button for its live bookmarks feature, and since they removed the live bookmarks they seem to have also removed the button? I only ever used the button to get the feed addresses though, so I could paste them into my RSS reader. So... if I could get the button back it would be great. Otherwise, maybe there's a plugin which does the same thing?

The "browser.newtab.url" property in "about:config" mentioned in the answers does not appear to exist for me on Firefox Quantum 64.0 64-bit.

I have used Firefox for years and have paid many eBay purchases by PayPal. However from yesterday when I go to the eBay payment screen and check the PayPal box it ghosts out the 'Confirm and Pay' button. A little icon of a red circle with a diagonal line appears at the cursor. It works with no problem with Chrome and Edge. Its odd that it has only just started. I have cleared cache without succes.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Firefox sends to websites wrong time settings from my pc. It's looks like when 10:07pm i can see on any website 9:07pm.

Cheking by (new Date()).toLocaleString(); get 9:07pm when on my pc clock is 10:07pm, how can i solve this problem?

I hate all kinds of text smoothing/antialiasing with passion and for he longest time I had none of it in Firefox, yet after upgrading to FF64 some kind of text antialiasing has been forced on me for some reason. At first it was all over the browser, then in a minute it glitched out and disappeared from actual pages, yet it's still all over the interface: on tab names, on bookmark names in the bookmark panel (but strangely not inside bookmark folders), it's in the address and search bars, in the "File, Edit, etc." menu and some other menus as well.

How do I get rid of all text antialiasing for good?
