So I just switched OS on my desktop, and had to log into Firefox all over again for the first time in a bit, and it turns out that for some reason my saved passwords arent synchronising with my whats saved on my phone? In the past my experience have been that if I ask firefox to save my password on one device it remembers it on all my devices. Is this not the case? Is there something I need to do to manually synchronise?

Whenever i send a Tab from any Device to a Linux Desktop, the Linux Desktop is almost guaranteed to freeze. It doesn’t matter if that Linux Desktop is my "Dingus" PC with 2GB RAM and Wayland, or my "Workstation" PC with 16GB RAM and X11. On both Desktops, Firefox runs smoothly until it gets sent a Tab from another Device, then the whole Linux Desktop freezes. The Desktop doesn’t slow if i open the Tab on the Desktop in the “Tabs from other Devices” Sidebar instead.

Only my Linux Desktops freeze when they get sent a Tab from another Device. Android doesn’t slow when my Phone gets sent a Tab from another Device.

I used to be synced across two laptops and my iphone but no longer. I am signed in to my Firefox account on my Windows 10 laptop and on my iphone. The windows 10 laptop indicates that I am also signed in on my Windows 11 laptop, but when I run Firefox on my Windows 11 laptop, it indicates that I am signed out. When I attempt to sign in (on the Windows 11 machine), I get an "unexpected error" flag and I cannot sign in.

How can I fix this?

Im trying to sync my android to existing account on PC. Phone says my firefox login incorrect yet when I go to firefox settings , it shows my name and password that I used to try to log in with phone. I then tried the scan option, but when I phone up to pc screen to QR code, it just sits there. SO I think ill just change my password. I go to password change section and it sends me the code via email. I input the code and brings me to change password screen yet when i try to change it, it states the prepopulated old password is incorrect. I am logged into PC with this info so how is it incorrect?

I have two computers that I use and I have them setup the same. Both have Windows 11, both are the same model, HP. One computer has 260 passwords and the other has 253 passwords. Why aren't they the same. Same sign in name Ronald Cogan, same email, same password. But when I bring up the one computer it shows 260 passwords and when I move over to the other computer it show 260

I've exported my bookmarks as an HTML file on my old computer (Win 11 Firefox ver 149.0.2) using a USB drive and tried to upload the file to my new computer (Win 11 Firefox Ver 149.0.2.). Only a few dozen of hundreds of bookmarks transferred. Repeated tries simply add the same bookmarks to the menu.

I've tried sync. Both computers are signed in and are correctly listed in the connected services box. Syncing is ON and when I select the Sync Now button on either computer screen, the Sync Now switches very briefly to Syncing and then back to Sync Now. Sync has transferred no data from my old computer to my new computer.

Dear All, I recently reinstalled Windows and updated to the latest Firefox. When I tried to sign in to sync/restore my bookmarks, Firefox could not recognize my password. I reset it and used the new password, but the bookmarks that appeared were outdated, and not all information synced to my current account.Could you please advise on the steps (or a quick solution) to fix this?Many thanks for your support in advance.Kind regards, Tareq Zeyad

In the settings of Firefox there is a search bar you click it to type things in to search settings but I cant search settings? I type "Favorite" and there's no settings for favorites bar behavior? No, I don't want the favorites bar to delete itself after I click on anything. I want my favorites bar to be a favorites bar and stay there and not go away anytime I click on anything. It shouldnt just be there only when I click a new tab.

1) Why does searching the settings for "favorite" not display any favorites bar settings? 2) Why are my Firefox browser settings not persistent between multiple computers when I have enabled "Sync"?

I use Firefox for work. Recently, I refreshed my desktop and now my favorites do not sync with the fresh Firefox installation. I've logged out, uninstalled/reinstalled, etc. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

My firefox deleted all my passwords and bookmarks last night. I manually inputed everything from scratch and now it has all deleted again. I pressed sync no multiple times and nothing is popping up. I am extremely annoyed. If this isn't resolved I must switch to a new browser.

Hi all, Starting at the weekend or end of last week I think, when I send tabs to another device when that device is switched off then when I open Firefox on the other device, the sent tabs are loaded in private browsing windows, not the main window with my saved tabs in. Sometimes all sent tabs arrive in one private browsing window, sometimes in one private browsing window for each tab. As I can't drag private tabs into the main window this is really annoying! How can I stop this happening please? Cheers :)

Cannot get FireFox browser on my Windows 11 computer to sync with my Android mobile phone or the other way around. They both can see each other but they won't sync.
