For the last 2-3 day I have been experiencing a box that asks for my signature each time I go to a new website. I can't move the box. I can't screenshot it. Does anyone know how I can get rid of it?

with this new version i lost everything i need to get back to an older version and get all my extentions my bookmarks back all my s desktop items that i had linked to firefox are gone i can no longer get face book or anything back to firefox book marks every thing i had with firefox

Hello, I am using Linux Mint on a desktop with the latest version of Firefox. Two weeks ago I could login to the Discover website with no problems. Suddenly I can not log in, but get an error message that something is wrong and I can't login. I can login using Chrome on this machine. My wife gets the same message when she tried to login to her account on my computer. After several discussions with Discover, all I get is "it is not our problem."

I am having no problems logging into other accounts with Firefox on this computer.

I have not explicitly changed anything on the browser or computer. I have done some updates which included Firefox. I can login on a different Linux computer using an older version of Firefox. Of course the updates were also to the computer and I will ask the same question to the Linux forum.

I really like Firefox and would hate to have to change to Chrome.

Every time I try to log onto https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company I get the following message Secure Connection Failed An error occurred during a connection to find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk. As of yesterday my Firefox browser no longer displays some screens within Amazon Prime correctly. It displays what should be images as text, which is difficult to read, unlike Microsoft Edge, which displays the Amazon webpage correctly. I am running Windows 10 with a support extension through October 2026, so could it be an update from Microsoft Windows or Mozilla Firefox that has caused the problem. Thanks for your help.

FireFox browser closed and when I opened it all my bookmarks are gone, all of my history is gone everything is gone as though I never ever used firefox in my life.

I did not really know what happened but every time I opened home page, it did not load. It was working before but suddenly it didn't. I have tried writing "about:home" into search bar and it returned nothing. Just a blank page and an empty search bar.

I've checked the settings and it should be fine. Nothing wrong with it. I've checked the flatpak version and its ok. I was able to open my home tab.

I am using Firefox 148.0.2 (64-bit) Debian .deb.

All the icons in my Bookmark Toolbar have been working great with no errors for several years, through countless updates with no problem. Then, recently I noticed all the icons lost the color icons and just show as a wire globe. Clicking on them, any one of them, they all go to the same website. If I remove them, got to the website I want there, and drag the URL to the bookmark bar, things are back to normal for that icon. So I replaced each one, and the next day, when I open Firefox, all the icons are again wire globes. It seems that Firefox will not retain the URL for any of the icons.

Very strange.

My computer shut down. I turned it back on, and the browser was completely updated. Nothing! I'm panicking. There's not a single backup anywhere. there is no folder on the desktop «Old Firefox Data» I don't know what to do I tried to restore bookmarks, but the list only showed other browsers.

History drop down-Restore Previous Session MENU OPTION AND Recently Closed Windows MENU OPTION tab choice ARE DARK!!! Not active!!! Why? (If they are there to be seen they should always be active for use)

I use these ALL THE TIME!! Where is that function??? Why is MY history from yesterday NOT there for me?? I need it right now!

My life is busy and stressful enough without Firefox or Apple or Microsoft adding to it!!!

ello. My favorites have disappeared from my Windows 11 PC. It has happened once before and then I was able to get them back by deleting the sqlite file, now it doesn't work and I need your help with ending firefox processes etc.

I have recently purchased a new Windows 11 computer, and want to install Firefox there and transfer all my bookmarks, passwords, etc. There are obviously quite a few Support articles on this topic, and seemingly quite a few methods to use: copy and paste profile folder, sync, the backup/restore function within Settings, etc. I'm a bit reluctant to use sync, as some users report it can be an incomplete transfer. My current profile also may contain some "corruption", so I'm reluctant to copy the entire profile folder to the new computer.

My questions are: 1. Why is it "best is to avoid restoring a full profile folder"? 2. Is this the complete list of "important files that are safe to restore/transfer"? 2. In my profile folder, there are several files that start with the same file name, but then have different file extensions. For example: cookies.sqlite, cookies.sqlite.bak, cookies.sqlite-shm, cookies.sqlite-wal. Should I restore ALL these files, or just "cookies.sqlite"? 3. Is the correct procedure to copy the selected files from the "old" profile, and then paste them to the "new" profile, which presumably would overwrite files of the same name in the "new" profile? Just this week I found it was impossible to get to firefox browsing until I chose an upsetting blob as my profile. Is there anyway to skip this step or at least to change that blob to something that makes a more pleasant experience?

I've bought from an ecommerce site for years, using FF as my browser. Suddenly, over the last couple of weeks, I can't get to, receiving a 503 error message.

I can still get to the site on Edge, but I don't wish to use it or Chrome for ecommerce. Either they or you broke something. What needs to be done?

When I go to a meeting on meet.google.com, Google Meet says "Camera is starting". My camera light flashes and then stays on. However, Google Meet is unable to connect to the camera.

Upon closing the tab, the camera light stays on and the camera is unresponsive to all apps. The camera must be unplugged and plugged back in to work again.

The issue does not exist when I go to webcammictest.com in Firefox or in other desktop apps. The camera works correctly on meet.google.com when I use Chrome.

I have tried removing camera and microphone permissions to meet.google.com and re-granting them. I have tried deleting all meet.google.com cookies and storage.

I had about 15 pinned tabs - unloaded - that I was saving for a research project. I shut my PC down and when powered up for the next session - all the pinned tabs were gone. I never thought to record the tabs via screen shot or something.

Is this normal - what are the limits of pinned tabs ? Do they expire in a day ? When the PC powers down ? When Firefox updates ?

A few weeks ago, I started to get repeated messages from Firefox asking me to make Firefox my default browser. Firefox has been my default browser for years, and I have never made anything else my default browser. Anyway, I followed the prompts and re-selected Firefox as my default browser. A little while would go by (sometimes as little as a minute) and I would again get the prompts to select Firefox as my default browser. This append 20 or 30 times. And, every time it happened, all of my saved passwords disappeared, but would reappear when I re-selected Firefox. In the last week, this situation has gotten a lot worse. Now, the saved passwords don't come back. And, the prompt you usually get when entering passwords to a new site offering to save the password doesn't appear any more. So, the only way I can rebuild my saved passwords is to enter them manually, which I am not going to do because it would take a couple of hours and then I'm pretty sure they would all disappear again. Also, I like to go to my homepage when I open a new tab. Can't do that anymore. When I open a new tab, I get a new private browsing window. I have checked all my settings a dozen times, and they are correct. I have combed your support sites and there is nothing there to help me. I don't want to dump Firefox, but I cannot continue with it behaving as it does now. Is there anyone anywhere in your organization who can help me? Thank you.

I need to disable the "command I" keystroke because it is causing alot of problems when I hit it. I am on a Mac and use a Protooarc EK01+ keyboard, This keyboard has a "settings" key and when I peess it by accident, it dislays the Ihfo dialog screen (and erases what I've already typed. Can you help me, please?
