Firefox has been crashing regularly for a full day now. I have one profile with multiple extensions, and a fresh profile that is meant to test firefox without any. With this new, "clean-slate" profile with none of my extensions installed, I still get repeated crashes. It is getting in the way of my ability to work- it happens even in Troubleshoot mode, even though I could not confirm any hardware issues prior to this.

Will I need to delete the extenstion-filled profile entirely before going forward? Is there an update I need to install, or anything else I should do myself? Should I provide a list of my extensions?

firefox is my browser. i have windows 11. all of my web (not app) shortcut icons on desktop are the white blank page icon. i used to see the icons for the sources -- the newspapers, etc. none of the standard windows fixes for this have worked. was there a firefox policy change that causes this? i Free Up Space to Onedrive for everything on desktop, but even when I apply Keep on This Device, the source icons still don't appear, so I don't think Onedrive is the issue. in some unsynced folders on the PC, web links appear with a generic blue planet icon, which is as generic as the white page icons on the desktop. I've tried the fixes for windows 11 but none of them have worked. any ideas of a firefox fix for this? thanks!

Firefox has been my browser of choice for well over 20 years. I have a game I play every day (from FaceBook) just this week when I try to go to it on my laptop - it says your browser does not support WebGL. it has always opened using Firefox - this is a new error message. and the computer is only 5 months old and has Windows 11 on it. I do not want to switch to Google or Edge.

Like I said - opening the app worked every day up until about a week ago. What gives?

A heart has recently been included in the Firefox icon in my taskbar. What's the reason for it and what do I have to do so that the Firefox icon no longer has it? I've run a number of antimalware programs and they came up with nothing.

My local newspaper has gone only digital, which I actually like. But, there is an option on the bottom of the reader that is available when using Edge and is not available when I use Firefox. A mouseOver on Edge displays "Print or clip". Yes, it's a snipping tool and/or print option. But it really right-sizes the snipped area perfectly for printing crossword puzzles. The Windows snipping tool (Windows 11) makes it too small so I need to go to Edge for only this one task. My first preference would be to get the function on the Firefox screen, and my second choice would be to figure out how to use the Windows snipping tool to print without leaving Firefox. firefox is keeping me from accessing certain sites. why. do i need to switch to safari to access the sites. they do load on safari. can it be fixed or do i need to change?

This problem just started with the latest version of Firefox that opens with two profiles. It worked for a short time and then failed. Firefox will not open if I choose the default profile. I can open Firefox if I choose Profile #2, but it has none of the history of the default profile. I lose all of my extensions, history, bookmarks - everything.

How can I get back to where I was yesterday? (Note: I'm just a user, not a computer geek, and don't understand the buzzwords or technospeak. I can follow clear instructions like copy, delete, rename, etc.)

Today I was suprised to see that my shortcuts were deleted so i tried to fix it, but instead i somehow deleted my profile which had everything, is there a way to bring it back?

I want to stop Firefox from asking to save passwords. In settings/passwords the checkbox is checked but greyed out, so I cannot uncheck it. Why is it greyed out and how can I stop Firefox from asking to save every password?

My geeksquad agent dumped me here. They were not able to fix the issue. My tools are not all on the bar, my book marks are not all here. They got some. There was a message that some other application was using my firefox and my tools and bookmarks wouldn't work. I am no tech person. I just want things back like they were and to know why this happened and I don't want it to happen again. Please help.

Hello community, I have many history items from forms that I want delete, I can delete formhistory.sqlite from Firefox profile in AppData, but after while all unwanted items are back downloaded from Firefox Account (cloud). Is it possible somehow delete those file in Firefox Account too?

Hi. In the process of reinstalling my laptop (W11) I synchronized my Firefox, as I have done some many times before. No, this time, it seems that all my bookmarks and passwords have disappeared from the sync service...

Is there any way to get them back, now that my laptop has been reinstalled, from scratch?

Since accidentally deleting my current firefox profile, I have been experiencing a multitude of problems: Firstly, if it's possible to recover my profile file, that would fix all my problems. I currently have disk drill installed on my computer, so if there's any way to recover it please let me know. If that isn't possible, there are a few issues: 1: the top 3 buttons being shifted to the right (image 1 is what it looks like now, image 2 is what it used to be) 2: the color of the toolbar affected how other websites look(image 3) 3: all extensions being removed, though this was probably due to the deletion of the profiles

Why all of a sudden I cannot reacht my saved passwords anymore. Also it does nit prefill the saved passwords anymore when going to a website. How come Firefox/Mozilla keeps changing these essential things?? It makes it very much so less productive.

I've included a screenshot of what I get when clikcing on the Password tab. The information displayed in this wcreen also does not work. Clicking on Sync, does just nothing, just showing Sync in grey... Clicking on Login above just show this screen screen again. Useless.
