Since a few days, Firefox started crashing each time I receive a notification.

For example, with this notifications test website: https://www.bennish.net/web-notifications.html

Each time I click on the "Show" button to display a notification, Firefox becomes completely unresponsive: the content of the window is completely frozen and I can't click on anything. I must close it and restart it to make it work again. When I restart it, a dialog displays:

> Firefox is already running, but is not responding. The old Firefox process must be closed to open a new window.

In both applications, the notification is never shown: the freeze occurs before.

I tried the following changes but they did not stop the issue from occuring:

- Deactivating hardware acceleration - Troubleshooting mode - Deactivating firefox notifications in Windows - Deactivating `alerts.useSystemBackend` and `alerts.useSystemBackend.windows.notificationserver.enabled` in `about:config`

At the same time, I noticed that Thunderbird (v144.0.1, 64bits) started having the same issue. It haappens each time I receive a new message in the background and a notification should appear. Maybe this is related?

Anyone use LastPass? Do YOU have any hair left? How do I put that extension up at the top. Where my red arrow points? ALSO......

Im entering the email and password i swear dozens of times every day...it never works right, ALWAYS need one or both lines filled in.  I DONT CARE IF IT DOESNT WANT ME TO SAVE THE PASSWORD. GOD KNOWS its NOT retaining it!  OK, im 75 years old. HAVE I LOST MY MARBLES?

I am unable to print after upgrade to ver 144.0 The print preview just spins. I can print these web pages using Edge. This same thing happens with new version of Thunderbird. Can't print email either. John Stark

Since the last update, the firefox taskbar icon is showing a strange shopping card icon? How can I remove it? I am not shopping with Firefox, I am using it as my web browser.

I am trying to set up a profile however when I click the account icon the profiles menu item does not show up like it says on the manage firefox profiles guide. I am updated to latest firefox version.

I have been using Firefox for many, many years. As of late I find it is constantly slowing or freezing and when I check with taskmanager I find Firefox has opened and is running as many as 85 processes. I have tried the recommended methods of limiting it...but the performance options do not provide the ability to limit processes as set out in the instructions....and changing the browser.tabs.remote.autostart to false also did not work. If I can't fix this, I will have to stop using Firefox. I am using version 144.0

I keep getting 'notifications' from Mozilla Firefox that McAfee has discovered a virus, Trojan, and other things. They come on the lower right corner of my screen and the address d3mj6kghubcc73dtudhg.kaironero.co.in is along the bottom of the notification. The notifications pop up every time I turn on my computer and go into Firefox and they just keep coming after I dismiss them. They are in small rectangles and have Mozilla Firefox written across the top left and say that McAfee has discovered.... Are they legit or are they spam and how do I stop them? I don't have McAfee installed on my computer which is a desktop. Please help--this is driving me crazy!!!

I have always been a Firefox or Mozilla supporter, now I'm confused as I do use Microsoft Edge and others to support my apps such as Word, Excel, and others. The password thing about using traditional methods and now seems like a lot of people are using Google or Apple to log in really has made my life miserable. Where do I go from here?

Hello, I just purchased a new desktop computer. I have passwords and bookmarks that I would like to move over to the new computer. Can this be done or do I have to manually move each item. It would be so much easier to recapture all. Thanks for you help.

I've switch to a new computer and exported and imported my book marks, in json file. I can see them in the library, but I don't know how to get them to display on my sidebar. Help? thanks brian

A little over a week ago, I noticed icons for the shortcuts on the start page started showing wrong icons for some of them. For example, gmail and reddit show youtube icons and this behavior continues even for the favorites. X(Twitter) also has a generic icon instead of the normal one. Is there a way to force refresh on these or some way to correctly apply site icons?

I am interested in going to Windows 11, but I don't know what procedure to use to do that; all the info is confusing To me, the info makes it look like I need to buy another Computer, even though I have a perfectly good operating DELL Inspiron 1 that is not that old, 4 years old with a new hard drive.

复现： 浏览任意视频，使用方向键左右频繁切换快进/后退， 可以看到内存逐步增加，退出浏览无法得到完全释放， 若长时间使用最终会导致内存泄露，如播放列表频繁使用快进/后退 // 已尝试更新相关驱动，关闭部分音频相关功能，无法得到解决，目前推测是firefox问题， 使用microsoft edge尝试复现，无此问题

My version of Firefox wont save History, Bookmarks or Downloads. I've made sure the privacy settings are correct and have tried reinstalling Firefox several times. It also wont let me drag a link from the address bar to the bookmark bar anymore like it used to. Any help with this would be much appreciated... Thanks!
