I love Firefox, I use it on all my devices. And daily I access facebook.com on this browser, it's been working flawlessly - until yesterday. Yesterday, using Firefox (ver 130.0.1) on my Windows 10 PC, I tried accessing a FB page which I visit sometimes: https://www.facebook.com/OpenOscillator

Rather than reaching that page, I got a white screen with this error message: "Sorry, something went wrong." And since then, even visiting the Facebook home page (or any other FB page) has the same error message.

Today I tried the same thing on my Mac (OS 14.3), using Firefox and logging into facebook.com, which worked as usual. But when I went to https://www.facebook.com/OpenOscillator, I got the same error message: "Sorry, something went wrong." And as happened on my PC, now on my Mac I can't access any FB page on Firefox.

And just to mention, I've rebooted both the PC and the Mac, yet this problem persists on both devices.

Trying this same exercise on Edge on my PC does not have this problem. Nor does it happen when doing this on Safari on my Mac.

So, this problem has only been happening on Firefox. I can no longer access facebook.com with Firefox. Do you guys have any ideas how to solve this?

My computer restarted on me (as always, this piece of garbage new laptop has to restart every other day for some stupid update or battery issue) and Firefox, despite still knowing my history and latest websites visited, does not have an option to open the many closed tabs.

I don't want to go back to Chrome, but there's basically only one thing I need from a browser and it's insurance against my devices turning off and leaving me without any of my tabs.

Hi - have been having an issue since 128 where I can't select items in certain menus in Firefox with the mouse. Each time I open Firefox, it works once. Subsequently, the focus in the menu is completely off from where I put my mouse, and I can't click anything. (I would upload a video, but there doesn't seem to be a way). An example of the behavior is: -hamburger menu open. Mouse is on 'Translate page', but focus is on 'save page as'.

• This happens with both the trackpad and the mouse.
• I don't experience this issue with other applications.
• I can navigate some of the menu options with the keyboard. For example, in the Bookmark menu I can select Save, but not Remove bookmark.
• I don't have any issue with the main nav bar (File, Edit, etc)

This applies to for example: Save bookmarks (cmd+d), Hamburger Menu, Update reminders, and the new Translation dialog (have attached screenshots of some affected items). I can't inspect them to see if they are all the same component that is causing the issue, because they disappear if you choose Inspect. (I'm unable to see a "Disable popup autohide" setting in my meatball menu, as described here). I also tried the steps listed [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/que.../957538] here. Things I have tried:

• resetting PRAM/SMC just in case it's my machine
• disabling hardware acceleration
• starting in safe mode
• refreshing Firefox
• updating to the latest version (thrice)

My first name is Joachim and my last name has three parts: "von zur Gathen". Small v and z, capital G. My entry in "saved names" is (correctly) Joachim von zur Gathen. But when an application calls for it, "Joachim von" is (incorrectly) provided as my first name. How do I edit my saved name so that it is displayed correctly? There used to be an option for a separate search window on the address bar. I found it really useful especially for a instant spell check. The option was there then after an update, it wasn't. WHY WHY WHY????? Is there any way for me to put it back? I hate using the address bar to search! Unless I open a new tab or window, regaining control of the prior tab/window is difficult.

1. Close Firefox (FF) with some tabs open 2. While FF is closed the websites are updated 3. Open Firefox, tabs reopen 4. Go to tabs

Expected: Tabs should the latest version of the website (ie the page has been refreshed)

Actual: Tabs are showing the old, previous (cached) versions of the website and not refreshing to show the latest

User has to manuall refresh each tab to see the latest version of the page

Are other people seeing this issue?

Hello dear community! My firefox keeps crashing when trying to open a tab or close a tab. I can't replicate it since it happens on random tab-closing and tab-opening. I think it's just crashing when doing something like clicking anywhere and NOT when doing nothing while the system is idling. Thank you for your help! As you can see from the screenshot i provided and as you can read from subject of this very annoying issue Firefox new 130 update has changed my URL bar and now stuff are missing to the point that links to Outlook and some other stuff that were in address bar URL because i wanted them there and now they place has been taken by namely foxovizija.blogspot.com and watchonlyfoolsandhorses.com and ajax.nl/shop just because i watched few episodes of fools and horses on that link same goes for foxovizija and browsed some items in ajax fan shop! I WANT DOES LINK GONE FROM MY URL so i can put links that i want to be in there and FF 130 address bar being populated by only the links i want to be there and stay that way! and one more thing i want to get rid of that ugly search with google thing because i don't even use google,further more once all of a sudden in FF 130 MY BROWSER IS MANAGED BY MY ORGANIZATION ? That was never there before this update ,so with all that has been said and screenshot as proof i beg you and plea on your kindness and knowledge to give me guidance how to fix this URL thing first,then how to remove THIS BROWSER IS MANAGED BY YOUR ORGANIZATION and last but not least how to block further FF updates because every new update is worse then the next and just keep pushing the whole browser down the drain ! While on https://www.kitco.com/price/precious-metals I got a message I am using an AD blocker. I looked in my extensions and I have none installed. The only two extensions that could possibly be responsible block tracking but do not say they block ad's. However, all I have to do is close the message box and all seems to work properly. So I'm just curious what might be causing this message to pop up

My Firefox has apparently lost Unicode support for Arabic, but only for Arabic: Persian letters (which AFAIK use the same alphabet!) display just fine. The attached screenshots show the problem via Wiktionary excerpts. Note that while the Arabic text appears only as boxes, the Persian, Azerbaijani, Ottoman Turkish, etc. texts all work just fine. It's clearly not a problem with encoding more generally -- languages as rare as Old Persian, Avestan, and the IPA appear normally. For some reason it's only Arabic that's broken.

What's going on here? How can I fix it?

Hi there,

Firefox is my default browser but increasingly (once a week I guess) I have to use chrome to access some sites. This happens with firefox only, (not other browsers) on some sites. The latest site is https://www.skyscanner.ie/. (see screenshot below).

Any ideas?

Hi! When I start browser it took a long time in search engine to find a result. And sometimes not find anything at all. It simply stops searching and the page seems to freeze. Furthermore, in the settings it says that "Your browser is being managed by your organization" and I don't know what that means or which organization it is. There is some document on the link and that's it.

hello yesterday i updated my Win10N to 22H2 version. since then i dont have audio on X videos and get error messages on nius clips (see pic) in about:support shows h264 acc and hevc as unsupported. but i cant tell if this is new or not. anyway k-lite codec pack should make them supported, right? to further narrow down the problem i used edge and visited nius and twitter and both worked fine, so the problem must be firefox. so im out of ideas how to fix that. anyone can help me? my help request on reddit https://www.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/1fs2in3/need_helppossible_codec_problem/

In recent weeks when I open my Macbook and go to https://meet.google.com, the page that loads says "404. That’s an error. The requested URL was not found on this server. That’s all we know." The issue is only on Firefox and not Chrome or Safari. When I see the error page, I look at the URL and it has the word "unsupported": https://meet.google.com/unsupported?meetingCode=landing&ref=https://meet.google.com/landing

So I dragged firefox to the trash, reinstalled and the issue persisted. I do not have a VPN. I'm using my own Wifi at home. If I switch to my desktop computer (m2 mac ultra) and go to the same Google Meet URL, I don't get a 404 error on firefox, however no one can hear my microphone any more as of 1 month ago, when I didn't have this issue in the past and I've done everything that everyone has told me to (in order to fix it) and nothing has worked.

I run G-mail in a Firefox tab. It worked perfectly until 48 hours ago. Now I cannot attach any files to my emails, and Gmail's "Help" is useless. Is there anything in FF which could be preventing this? Any clues as to why GM has turned nasty?

I tried setting every setting to English my region to Canada the browser opens in Turkish with a translate to English box. I go to a website and they are all in Turkish. How can I fix this???
