I dont know how to explain so good in English, but at the update, I have many problem. We here in Denmark use something call mitid, this dont work. And when I want start side (google) stay white, it start up dark. I know how to do, but now I cant any more, there are other side, I have problem like that too.. I will be sad if I have to start use other, as Firefox. Will to problems get fixst or ??

I found an article that tells me to sync from my old laptop, allow several hours, then log into firefox from my new laptop. But once I sign into Firefox here on my old laptop (windows 7 and now very slow) I don't see anywhere that allows me to sync. Is it still true that I need to get my info from my old laptop to the cloud or wherever sync is, before trying to get it onto my new laptop? I especially would like to be able to see my bookmarks in the folders I have them in here on my old laptop. And have the bookmarks as a drop down off a top bar. I hope that is still available. I will be running some errands for a while so might not respond immediately. I will check for responses after I get back home.

I use ccleaner and somehow my setting got changed and it wiped out my history, except for the past 2 days.

I've got a backup places.sqlite from a couple weeks ago. Is there any way to add the two together?

Also, is there any way to import history without replacing the current bookmarks?

I need to run a page that uses Adobe Flash and for that I need to use Firefox version 78. I downloaded it from https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/78.9.0esr/mac/en-US/ but when I run the installation, it automatically updates to the latest version. What do I need to do?

fire fox stopped working today. I tried several times to download a new browser, and then tried several times after I uninstalled firefox first.

when reinstalling the browser a dialogue box comes up with the message in quotes below

"The code execution cannot proceed because VCRUNTIME140_1.dill was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix the problem."

I upgraded the hard drive on my computer, first I did a full back up on an external drive. When I reloaded to my new drive, everything transferred fine, except for the bookmarks and favorites on FireFox. Unfortunately, I had forgotten my password and tried to reset it several times but somehow I kept getting messages about the wrong parameters. I don't know if it would help, but I have the original Sync Key from the old drive. Can you please help me? Thank you Monica Almas [email address] or [email address]

My hard drive crashed and will be replaced. Working on an older laptop I changed the password to my Firefox account because I couldn't remember it. I changed the password not knowing I'd lose Firefox data, passwords, etc when I made said change. Is it possible to rollback the password to the prior password and access the older data? And if so how do I do so? Mark Pustka

i recently aquired firefox. i am not sure if it is operational or not and even worse if it is what i need. this is a personel pc with several accounts with cc accounts etc.

I am re-installing Windows10 Pro for a clean install. I made a backup of my profiles of Firefox and Thunderbird, both in AppData Local and Roaming. After reinstallation of Firefox and Thunderbird, I deleted the new profiles and recovered the old ones. Now I get a message that I'm missing a profile. I still get it after deleting the apps and doing a clean install. What can I do?
