With the latest update of Firefox, my laptop, which is a high end DELL, is experiencing big difficulties just running a Firefox with 3 tabs open. the CPU usage is skyrocketing and it is also heavy on the memory. I am running the same 3 tab on the same websites as I have been doing for the past 6 months, but since the latest Firefox update, this has become impossible. What happened to Firefox? I have had no other significant updates but the Firefox update.

I enabled "Open Recent Taps At Startup" but it doesn't work all the time sometimes i close the browser and then open again at some time later or maybe a little bit after i closed it and the taps are gone, i actually don't know what is wrong with it, does someone know a fix to this issue ?

Note: This actually does not happen a lot but when it does it becomes very frustrating especially when i closed the browser for a long time and i open it again i find that all of the taps are gone and it becomes very hard to remember what i had opened since the last time

when I open firefox it ALWAUS goes back to the last page I visited. I checked off that feature in settings, tried restaring in safe mode, refreshing firefox, updating, reinstalling, nothing works. I DO NOT WANT LAST PAGE RELOADING AT STARTUP. How do I make firefox works properly?

Prior to updating to Firefox 111.0.1, I had NO issues going to chase.com. Now, it no longer works in Firefox. It does work in Chrome browser. When I go to chase.com, I get the below error message. I'm using a FF private window with no extensions. Yes, I cleared cache and cookies.

Hi. Just a couple of days ago, Firefox lost the ability to load the website "ebay.com.au". The UK ebay website loads fine. As does the USA ebay website. I have tried running Firefox in troubleshooter mode disabling all extensions, no fix. I have been able to test this problem on one other Desktop PC, whom also is unable to load (ebay.com.au). Both PC's are 64-bit Windows 10 and have separate router and Internet connections. Both PC's are using the latest Desktop Firefox (111.0.1). I have tested disabling the software (BitDefender) Firewall on the PC, did not fix.

IF I CANNOT GET BACK INTO MY FIREFOX AND/OR GOOGLE ACCOUNT I CANNOT GET MY EMAILS TO SYNC. How does someone get ACCOUNT HELP? I'll pay for the blasted help if just to get my emails out of FIREFOX? Such BAD customer service -- oh yeah, we aren't CUSTOMERS cause Firefox is FREE. Right now that is EXACTLY WHAT FIREFOX and MOZILLA are worth -- NOTHING, NADA, ZERO, TRASH! And now it will cost me $$$$$ to get my computer completely reset to eliminate ALL TRACES OF FIREFOX!!!

How do I actually get help with my account? I cannot access it because the account has the WRONG EMAIL address mixed up with the WRONG PASSWORDS. The account MESS is preventing me from using SYNC creating my emails USELESS!!! There must be someone, somewhere, who can tell me how to get specific help with MY FIREFOX ACCOUNT. It is messed up so badly I am going have to throw this computer out and start all over -- but then I have to use either some bogus email address that I DO NOT WANT TO USE. Fix the taskbar icon removal process so that one or two deletes does the trick. Having to delete for every item I looked at on a site is so annoying and I can't believe you think this is ok.

Is there some way to recommend an extension that's available in the Chrome Web Store but not available for Firefox? It's the only one I've found anywhere that does this, particular job.

Beanote will allow a sticky note to be made *anywhere* on a web page -- not in a sidebar -- and it will stay right where you want it. Or you can move it. Also, if there are tabs within a portion of that webpage, it will bleed through transparently to all of them. If you want to add it to another of these tabs, you just click on it and you can move it anywhere you'd like; again, it will stay there.

had to reinstall Firefox because of swcurity breach...looks like old app was put in folder...but I lost all my bookmarks inthe new install...how do I transfer bookmarks fromfolder to new app

I'm running Windows 11 on a new machine. Doing a process check shows Firefox is currently at 853MB ! I have two windows open. What is going on? What happened to "Run lite without overbyte"? (Yes I'm was a Dr. Dobb's subscriber, )

I have bookmarks saved in 11 folders. Occasionally when I expand a folder to work with a bookmark and then close it, the whole folder will be saved at the bottom of a different open folder, not in its original location. I was struggling with trying to locate wandering folders untiI I learned to search a bookmark that I knew to be in the missing folder. Still, I would like to know if there is a setting that prevents folders from slipping out of sight. I have observed this happening for years.

I have an M2 macbook air. On average, Firefox on my Mac uses between 850megs and frequently well over a gig of my system's RAM. I have deleted all of my extensions (this helped a tiny bit), but the issue remains. It is noteworthy that Chrome, which has more windows opened and is used more frequently, only reports RAM usage of 125 megs up to 275 megs. Please help me.

Systems details M2 Macbook Air Ventura 13.3 (the issue remains between several software upgrades) Firefox 111.0.1 version (again, this memory issue remains after many software upgrades)

I am trying to access different audio tracks in a video on Firefox, but I am having issues. In order to have the media track button visible in the media player, I enabled media.track.enabled in about:config. However, clicking the button does not reveal a dropdown menu with the different audio tracks like it happens in Chrome. Attached follows a screenshot to illustrate the audio track button I am referencing (headphones icon). Is there another setting I can enable to allow the dropdown to show the tracks?
