Firefox just updated itself to 67.02 (32 bit) in the process it 'lost' all my saved passwords - there are none left - so I am now somewhat hosed! Q 1. Why? Q2. Is there any way of recovering them?

I turned on Firefox this morning (after a Microsoft update/shut down last night). Heading to my usual pages where my logins/passwords come up automatically, I discovered the boxes were empty - they are usually filled by autofill; these are login pages to my blog, Amazon, eBay etc. I had also been logged out of my Firefox account, so I logged back in (I had remembered that password, luckily) Checking Options/security - show saved logins, I found absolutely no list of saved logins at all. (Horror!) I synced Firefox - still no list of saved logins Where have they gone and how do I get them back?

Hoping someone can help 'cos it's about five years' worth of saved logins.

I'm currently deployed and using a VPN over the Sapphire Wifi network. My Laptop is over five years old and will be replaced within two months. However when I close Firefox the login.json file corrupts everytime. I don't really know what to do anymore. I've copied the file and the key file to a folder on my dektop so I can just replace them when it happens, but I move my computer twice a day for work and it's getting tiresome.

When Firefox application for Windows (Win 10 Home, version 10.0.17763 build 17763) updated itself to version 67.0.2 (64-bit) this morning, I have lost all my saved logins. Firefox has been updated frequently before, and never has that issue.

I use master password to arrange the saved logins. I see that master password remains the same, but no one saved login is there, the list is empty. Now it started to fill the list of saved logins from the beginning.

Please help, I have lost a lot of important data.

after yesterdays update 67.0.2 (64-bit) which fixed the no home page issue

I now loose all my stored username and passwords

If I just turn off firefox then restart it the passwords are retained

but after shutting down the pc the usernames and passwords are gone

After updating to the latest version of Firefox, I lost all my passwords and if I try to re-enter them they disappear again when I reboot. As noted on reddit, I'm not the only one who has had this happen to them. This happens with or without the 6/12/19 Windows 10 update.

Things that I have tried. 1. replacing the logins.json profile file with the json corrupt file 2. refreshing Firefox 3. A lot of people asked if there is more than one profile (No there isn't)

I am using Firefox 67.0.5. Where did all my passwords go? They all disappeared (including the one to post this). I look at my passwords under the tools, options, privacy and security, and saved passwords, and it is empty after it was full. This seems like something Microsoft would do...My brother got a Winders 10 update that said it would make his computer more secure and it corrupted his internet connection. This makes your browser more secure by making it impossible to do anything with passwords. Is there a way to get them ALL back or do I have to change them all again just because you "updated" firefox?
