Hello. After the most recent Firefox update on my Samsung Android version 10, the translator apps Google translate and Deepl no longer give pronunciation of words. My volume is up. I have checked my addon and Uninstalled. Reinstalled. Turned it off and back on etc. The pronunciationbin these pages works on Chrome and Samsung internet but stopped working in Firefox after your last Jan 18 update. I like your product and hope you fix this bug. When you click the speaker icon on Google translate it looks like it is speaking but no sound comes out. Thank you for your help

Version 120 (PC) continuously crashes and asks me to refresh and nothing happens (including after rebooting) so I had no choice to uninstall. I normally trust your updates but I'm really regretting this one. Can you help me not switch over to chrome? Maybe you're already aware of this bug and will have it fixed soon.

Please help!! I use windows 8.1. After using the recovery function to a previous backup Firefox icon looked like a blank page and when I tried to open I got an error message stating that I was attempting to use an older version of Firefox which could have a problem or a virus. There were two choices, one was to exit and the other was to create new profile. Clicking on the exit did not resolve anything so I clicked on create new profile. That resulted in a new install of Firefox. I now have lost all my saved bookmarks!! How can I get them back into the new install of Firefox? Thanks. .

Firefox on Windows keeps telling me that my tab has crashed every time i open a new tab. I have tried turning off all my extensions and add-ons, clearing the cache and cookies, turning off hardware acceleration, reinstalling the browser, clearing the appdata files and finally removing any and all firefox files in mozilla folders i could find on my computer, but nothing works. Strangely enough it works only when i open it in troubleshooting mode, even though I've reinstalled the browser 4 times now. It was working just fine earlier, but when i turned on my computer it would not work. The only thing i did in between it working and not working was play a videogame on Steam. Please help, this is driving me crazy. I am using an MSI 64-bit laptop and the latest version of Firefox 64-bit.

Each of these json files is huge, and we actually don't have enough to support all the platforms we're supposed to be supporting. Adding more files is not enticing. Now that we've made the first step described above work in a single pass on a single machine (as opposed to multiple passes on multiple machines previously), we can actually merge both steps and avoid producing the intermediate json files altogether. This will allow to add more configurations without having to worry about the weight of those files. That is not sustainable, and there are already missing configs that break tier-3 platforms. This replaces the current setup with one that handles all platforms in one go, although we still keep the internal sequence of GcConfigGen -> fixup_json -> GnMozbuildWriter. The downside is that because this relies on the upstream webrtc build system supporting cross-compilation, and that it actively rejects some configurations, we need some local hacks to make it work on Linux and Mac, but for now, we have to leave out Windows, which requires more work. For some reason, that removes some duplicated include directories in the json files, which moves things a little in one moz.build file. We also remove the mozconfigs we don't use anymore. This approach is desirable since we already have most of the modules transitioned to the non unified system but there are still some that are not yet compatible, but in the long term this will be done by each module owner and can be also tested locally using the build system. If a module can't be built outside the unified method it's `moz.build` config file needs to have `REQUIRES_UNIFIED_BUILD = False` To also enable this we need to have a flag from `mozconfig`, like: ``` ac_add_options --disable-unified-build ``` Differential Revision: https://phabricator.services.mozilla.com/D122328 3e615329b0a3a5aa2029c68dd84bfd5eb2acaeda: Bug 1725145 - Preparation for the hybrid build env. r=necko-reviewers,firefox-build-system-reviewers,valentin,glandium diff browse Andi-Bogdan Postelnicu <andi@mozilla.com> - Wed, 25 Aug 2021 10:46:17 +0000 - rev 589878 Push 38735 by nbeleuzu@mozilla.com at Wed, 25 Aug 2021 15:39:54 +0000 Bug 1725145 - Preparation for the hybrid build env. r=necko-reviewers,firefox-build-system-reviewers,valentin,glandium Automatically generated path that adds flag `REQUIRES_UNIFIED_BUILD = True` to `moz.build` when the module governed by the build config file is not buildable outside on the unified environment. Today I used firefox on my PC, using duckduckgo. I searched "iKnee" which is a brand of knee massager. I found that site but also in the search results there were several offensive porn sites listed. The first time that's ever happened. Why has it happened this time? Can I prevent it happening again?

Hello everyone,

I'm currently running into some speed issues with Firefox on my laptop. I run Windows 10 on my HP Pavillion Notebook, 64 bit, 8GB RAM. It has been very slow to load all pages for the past 2 days, despite no real change in routine.

My internet connection is fine however, and other browsers such as Chrome run very fast on my PC. I have my Firefox updated to the latest version, I haven't installed any new add-ons in a long time. Just gave my current ones a look and all seem fine. Can also run Firefox fine on phone, so the speed issue is strictly for Firefox on PC. I've restarted my laptop, router, run troubleshooting, and nothing is showing up.

Should I wait this out and see if it clears up on it's own? If so, for how long? And if not, what should I do to fix this? Please let me know if you have any new suggestions, thank you.
