Worked fine, but now typically shows , e.g., "no media to process in current tab." Or it seems to download but then gives error message "MP2T No data received." It had just worked fine with Firefox 67.0. DownloadHelper v. 7.3.6. Looks fine in the Add-ons/"manage your extensions" tab.

Whenever I want to search something or type anything in Firefox it will automatically click what ever my cursor is over. This only happens when I press the A key though. I've tested it and it only happens on Firefox, and it doesn't matter what it is that the cursor is hovering over, as long as I press the A key it will register as a click. Is there a way to disable this as It's incredibly frustrating when I'm trying to search something and I end up "clicking" some random Youtube video or link.

Fine typing Q but no q
I tried to find any solution to this but no results. I found a similar topic here with letter Q instead. I followed the steps but no luck as well. (Cannot type letter Q (weird bug!))
The issue is simple, typing q doesn't type anything. I can paste the Q from clipboard and works fine (this how I survived)
I have Spanish (Mexico) language and Latin American keyboard by default. Tried with the standard English (US) and US international keyboard with the same behavior .

I want to block firefox from updating and removing any add-ons. I don't care about security certificate dates, updates, or whatever. It's my computer. I went to your support page (it also shows at the top of this page) and it sent me to a URL that was supposed to fix this problem and I installed that version. Mozilla Firefox 67.0 (x64 en-US) I rebooted and it STILL does not work.
I'm really struggling to be nice here. You knew that this was a problem from some months ago and you let it happen again. OMG.
In trying to get this add-on to work, I've disabled my other two add-ons then I Removed and Re-installed this Add-on and still it does not work. The download button appears but when I click on it, nothing happens. So what gives, this time? Is there ever going to be a permanent fix? I'm in the middle of downloading 5 youtube files that should have been done this afternoon, and now it is almost 11pm and who knows when/if they will ever get downloaded. We’ve released Firefox 66.0.5 for Desktop and Android, and Firefox ESR 60.6.3, which include the permanent fix for re-enabling add-ons that were disabled starting on May 3rd. The initial, temporary fix that was deployed May 4th through the Studies system is replaced by these updates, and we recommend updating as soon as possible. Users who enabled Studies to receive the temporary fix, and have updated to the permanent fix, can now disable Studies if they desire.
For users who cannot update to the latest version of Firefox or Firefox ESR, we plan to distribute an update that automatically applies the fix to versions 52 through 60. This fix will also be available as a user-installable extension. For anyone still experiencing issues in versions 61 through 65, we plan to distribute a fix through a user-installable extension. These extensions will not require users to enable Studies, and we’ll provide an update when they are available.

A Firefox release has been pushed — version 66.0.4 on Desktop and Android, and version 60.6.2 for ESR. This release repairs the certificate chain to re-enable web extensions, themes, search engines, and language packs that had been disabled (Bug 1549061).
There are remaining issues that we are actively working to resolve, but we wanted to get this fix out before Monday to lessen the impact of disabled add-ons before the start of the week. After restarting PC and starting Firefox, most of the addons I have had lost all of their settings and were reset to default - Tampermonkey lost all the scripts I had installed, uBlock lost all settings and rules, etc. Weirdly some extensions kept portions of their settings, like TreeTabs saved tree structure despite also getting reset to default.
Additionally Firefox also got its own settings reset to default, while the tabs from my session and bookmarks were saved.
Is there any way to recover addon and Firefox settings, is there any backup of them?

I've tried all avenues that normally resolves the issue of unsaved passwords, including cleaning out caches, running in safe mode etc. In fact, I tried two different MacOSX machines, one running running 10.13.8, the other 10.14.1. Nothing works, Firefox does not offer to save credentials. I thought there might be some new HTML trick to disable login saving I'm not aware of but Safari had no problem saving the password. Any suggestions are appreciated.
