I cannot open the find on page toolbar. No matter if I use the ctr+f shortcut or click "find on page" in the menu, the toolbar with the text field doesn't come up. I checked and the shortcut works fine in other apps. I tried restarting firefox in the troubleshoot mode - the problem persists. I'm on the latest version of Firefox (138.0.1) and running Windows 11.

Ever since the beginning of March, my earthlink email no longer functions on my Firefox 48.0.2 via my Macintosh 10.6.8 laptop. Instead, I get the following message....

YOUR CONNECTION IS NOT SECURE The owner of support.mozilla.org has configured their website improperly. To protect your information from being stolen, Firefox has not connected to this website.

What gives? I didn't have ANY issues prior to May 1.

Hello, I'm a blind, screen reader user. I've used FireFox and Thunderbird for years. In the last month-ish something has changed in the Update Dialog for both apps, that asks if you want to allow the app to make changes to your hard drive. With Jaws and NVDA screen readers, this dialog has normally spoken, so I can Tab to the Yes button, press Enter, the update happens and all is well. Suddenly, this dialog doesn't speak... not a word. Don't know where I am at all. I've tried pressing Alt-Y, which is a Windows accessibility standard for pressing a Yes button, but that hasn't worked in the past, and doesn't work now. I am blessed with a sighted husband. When this dialog has come up in FireFox and Thunderbird the last month, he has kindly bailed me out and clicked Yes. But this is a nightmare accessibility problem. Using only a screen reader there is no way out of this. Escape doesn't get rid of the dialog and just not update. The dialog sits on the screen, not speaking until you take some action. In fact, the first time this happened I couldn't figure out what was going on, but tried to handle it myself. Nothing talked, so in the middle of things, I used the power button to shut down. Well... we think I shut down in the middle of the app attempting to update. So my laptop came up with an error on the screen, and we actually had to use my husband's computer to get into my Microsoft account and dig up a huge numeric code that would allow my laptop to boot. It was bad and took a long time, and my husband is a saint. So... something changed about a month ago in the Update Dialogs for both FireFox and Thunderbird, that causes them to no longer be readable by screen readers. There is not a keyboard way to just press Yes. There's not actually a way to know for sure that the reason the computer won't talk is because this Update Dialog is sitting on the screen. The developers need to know this has happened and fix it. I don't know any other way to reach them. Thanks!

This happens sporadically, and seems to resolve itself without restarting the browser or even closing any tabs.

This happens on multiple sites, from search engines to Google Docs to Reddit: any time I try to copy text I get switched to a random tab. This has happened to me 5 times as of now, some of those occurring after a reboot. I can't turn off the "Find in Page" or ctrl f function in Firefox. Everytime I type something the bottom bar pops up making Firefox impossible to use. Can anyone help? I've been at this for 2 days now and I am forced to using MS Edge as browser.

I DON'T KNOW IF I CHOSE CORRECT TOPIC, BUT I CHOSE THE DARK READER MODE THINKING IT MIGHT BE USEFUL FOR MY EYES. I am 82 years old and have Essential Tremor. I am on medications but my hands still shake enough to give me problems with your audio volume sliders.

Is there a way to make the audio volume sliders wider?

If not, there should be.

On MacOS, in order to set keyboard shortcut, I need to know the exact name for the feature. But I can't find tab navigations in Firefox's menu.

For example, in Chrome, they have a menu called "Tab" and there is "Select Next Tab" and "Select Previous Tab" in the menu. That are the names I need to set keyboard shortcut. But I can't find the equivalent in Firefox.

From the screenshot, the keyboard shortcut works for Chrome, but not working for Firefox as I don't have the exact name for tab navigation.

Can I substitute a more legible font for one of Firefox's? How? Where would I find suitable fonts. (Increased character spacing is what I will resort to if necessary, but it wastes space.)

The hotkey for showing/hiding the sidebar is currently ^Z. Since the Y and Z keys are swapped on German keyboards, could this be changed to ^Y when the interface language is set to German? Or is there already a setting for this that I might have missed?

Firefox is my default browser and I use Yahoo Mail. In the past, while writing an email, I would copy text from MS Word file (ctrl+C) and paste it (ctrl+V) in Yahoo Mail. These commands do not work anymore. Need a solution.

I'm using a docker container to access an old dell r710 with iDRAC 6 and I'm stuck configuring some parameters because I can't use the shortcut ctrl+n because firefox opens a new window.

Reading this https://support.mozilla.org/bm/questions/1381773 I assume that I can disable ctrl+n in firefox using autoconfig.js (/etc/firefox/defaults/pref/autoconfig.js) and firefox.cfg (/etc/firefox/firefox.cfg) but I don't know what should I write on these config files.

I just got reed of annoying e-mails going to my I Cloud and again today I have 170 junk mails!!!! Is there a way that unsolicited E- mail do not invade my computer as I only want to see the e-mails from people and companies that I know of!!!! I thank you for any tips that you have to offer. Neoma
