Out of nowhere I got the sidebar today. An absolutely useless feature that I surely did not ask for. And there is no way of closing or removing it. Please provide a guide, to removing or hiding it PERMANENTLY!

If I visit the same webpage twice in the Firefox browser, Firefox no longer shows the first webpage visit in the Library > History window. In this window, I would like for Firefox to show all visits to a webpage. In this case it should show both the first and second visits to the webpage, with timestamps to indicate the times of each visit.

Is there any configuration that I can make to Firefox that can achieve this?

I have an issue where, when I switch tabs with Ctrl+Tab, my mouse cursor accidentally triggers something if it happens to be in the center. This is very annoying. I tried Googling how to turn off tab visualization through the config, but it hasn't worked so far.

   * browser.ctrlTab.previews

• browser.tabs.closeWindowWithLastTab
• browser.tabs.animate
• toolkit.cosmeticAnimations.enabled

So now, the only option I see is to turn off Recent Tabs, but then the browser becomes unusable. I also tried the same on a new clean user profile and even on new Mozilla-based browsers, but still nothing. It would be ideal to make the cursor inactive while switching tabs, like it is in Arc Browser and probably many others. But I would be happy enough to just turn off tab switching visualization.

I was excited to see that Firefox had support for Canadian English, however the dictionary seems to be missing numerous words and I get spelling errors for words like "lasagna."

Is this a bug or is the dictionary just barely populated with words and missing a tremendous amount?

I would like to be able to update the prompts when I use the "Ask AI" menu https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/ai-chatbot. Is it possible? If yes, how? Thank you for answers. My LN only has 8 letters, but my street address is long, and I have old addresses w 5+4 zip codes that differ by the last 4. The 'Saved address' popup only shows most of the address, and it's not resizable. (See image )

I have to open each address to see it. Suggestion_--- Make the box wider, auto adjust, or (best) restore the sizing bars.

The answer - on my win11-64 anyway - is to resart windows explorer with a batch file - which you run everytime the taskbar bug occurs. Every thing is magically fixed. Until it isnt. Then repeat.

New day, new glitch. Since the inception of weather showing on the Firefox landing page, it has accurately shown my location. Today, it is not only not my city, it is in another state. It also does not respond to my making a correction with my zip code. Can we expect a correction any time soon?

I would like to dump Chrome and return to using Firefox. I just would like to know if it's possible somehow to remove about:mozilla page from within a browser (it's important for me). If anyone knows of a way to do it - please let me know.

I am currently using Microsoft Edge and am looking for a new browser to use. I went through the trouble twice now in setting up Firefox the way I want to work and for it to open certain bookmarks every time I open it. But 2 times now I have closed Firefox and reopened it and each time it not only fails to open the bookmarks I have setup, it also loses the other settings I setup and acts like I am setting it up for the first time. If I can't get this problem fixed I guess I will start looking at other browsers.

Deleting autofill entries does not work per article. The info is still there. Clearing history does not work either. Do I need to restart computer for it to forget/delete entries? Thank you. Fred couvrette
