Is there a way to remove "recent bookmarks" from the book marks pull down menu? Or at least hide them. It causes a total lack of privacy when any and all bookmarks can be seen in full view. Seems a stupid thing to not be able to hide them. Other browsers only show book marks when you go to the folder they are in.

Somehow over the years I ended up with two accounts. Today, after an update, FireFox opened up but without passwords. In order to get them back, I have to sign in to FireFox. Okay, that's easy. I enter the email address, the password (yes, it is correct - I checked two different ways), and it says that I am already signed in through the other account. I open that account and it says I must sign in. I am having trouble with my Simple Practice connection static and video not functioning for my sessions with clients on Firefox and would like to have this remedied...Maybe I just need an update but looked under Settings and didn't see that option. Please advise. Thank you!

I am running Firefox version 155.0.1 under Windows 10. I am receiving Extended Security Updates. When I update Firefox with the automatic updater it replaces the old version with the new one and everything runs fine but the automatic updater fails to clear the leftover registry key from the previous installation. This leaves me with two versions of Firefox listed on the Apps & features page. In order to avoid having this extra entry I have been uninstalling Firefox and then running the installation program to update to the next version. Uninstall removes both entries, but if try using the automatic updater again, once again it fails to clear the leftover registry key from the previous installation. Any ideas on how to resolve this issue. With the frequency of updates being released, I would like to update with the automatic updater without having to remove the ghost registry key each time or resorting to uninstalling the previous version before running the install program.

I would like to see a new field in the PASSWORD database to hold about/upto 50 text characters that can be entered/changed via the PASSWORD EDIT process. This field could, for example, hold related URL values/comments.

I.m an 81 year old man , and It is very difficult for me to use the computer, and now you make it more difficult for me with this new addition of Thunderbird that makes it more complicated for me,My question is: can I continue using Firefox with out Thunderbird ( that I don't like it ) ?

Hello, I looked at your FAQ and was wondering how this works financially for the foundation, since I believe that's an important part of privacy preserving technologies.

I've searched & waited past few years for an Extension to make the TOOLBAR FONTS larger, none found. Reason being many of us are using larger monitors and TV's and we're usually sitting or standing further away from the screen. Problem is the font size cannot be changed, they stay small and hard to read comfortably. __YES I've reset my operating systems font size, that does not work in Firefox TOOLBARS. __Changing the "firefox/addon/theme-font-size-changer" has been eliminated by Firefox. __Changing the "layout.css.devPixelsPerPx" to a larger number increases the whole TOOLBAR. I just want the FONT size larger. __(someone suggested) NO, I'm not going to setup 2 monitors.

UBS Digital Banking is asking me to update my Firefox browser (140.15 Oesr), even though it is up to date according to the information on the Firefox support page. This version is no longer compatible with UBS’s technical requirements. What are my options if I wish to continue using Firefox rather than another browser? Thank you Luc

I am looking for an addon which displays times in different locations. I find one, FoxClock, which initially seems to meet my need. However, although the developer says its safe, and it has a Recommended badge, text in the app description says "Access your data for all websites." This may be 'honest' but it seems to be honest at the level of a thief saying "I'm going to rob you." WHY would a clock app need access to my data for all websites? Why would a clock app displaying on my desktop, not my browser, need to access any info about my data for any website? Poor coding? Lazy coding? Dangerous coding? Is this only a result of less than nuanced messaging by the developer or Mozilla, by using a generic message, rather than one which accurately states the 'access' is only for specified installation needs? Or another understandable safe reason? I'd like an explanation, since it does call into question the degree of security offered by Mozilla.

I'm on FF 154.0. The power went out here and when it came back and I booted the desktop computer something had changed in FF.

I used to see the active tab as green in the tab bar and yellow for the rest, but now they're all gray until I mouse over the bar and only then does it turn green/yellow.

I struggled with this for many hours trying many //active tab color// solutions I found in searches but nothing got it back to my old behavior.

So as a last resort I tried adding the Firefox Color extension, but when I click Add to Firefox it just turns into a throbber that never changes so it doesn't install. I'm stuck!

Frustrated!!

I am using Firefox Beta 156, Version 4 on Windows 11 Professional, 25H2. I have an odd error, "Look up over IPV6 failed lookup." It occurs on two different VPN's, Proton Free, and Windscribe Professional. Any assistance, or insight would be highly appreciated. Thank you kindly.
